The House of Diabolique

Ten Bitch Tracks After Moi Renee's 'Miss Honey' dropped in the early 90s, bitch tracks exploded in NYC. An overabundance of queens yapping about pussies and beating on their boyfriends quickly killed the "movement", but the influence of the bitch track lives on. Simply put, Peaches, Avenue D and any other electroclash artist who relies on raunch or cunty humor owes a debt of gratitude to the bitch track. Hearing too many bitch tracks at once can be like overloading on candy, and it can't be denied that some of the hits from back in the day haven't aged well. But all of our selections still work the bitch fantastic and exude an undeniable spark and wit. I'd love to see a retro bitch track night somewhere with performances by all of the bitch goddesses: Roxy, Jade Elektra, Miss Fernando, Franklin Fuentes and of course the queen herself, Sweet Pussy Pauline. Now THAT would be a fun night. 1.
