2013 - Atlanta's Best Places To Work nominations

Deadline: June 28, 2013

Submit Nomination

Atlanta Business Chronicle is looking for the metro area's 2013 Best Places To Work. If your company is one of the best places to work in Atlanta, this is your chance to be recognized and let others know. Atlanta Business Chronicle, in conjunction with Quantum Workplace (www.quantumworkplace.com), will accept company nominations through June 28, 2013. Companies nominate themselves; ONLY ONE NOMINATION PER COMPANY IS NECESSARY.

Only companies with at least 10 employees can participate. Each nominated company will be contacted by Quantum around July 16, 2013, and asked to participate in a scientifically valid survey conducted during the month of July and beginning of August. Companies will then be rated based on survey responses on work environment, people practices and other matrices. Please encourage all your employees to take Quantum's survey. To reach a 95 percent confidence level with a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percent, you will need to get employee participation based on the following percentages per size of organization for your company to be considered an honoree: Less than 50 employees = 85%; 51 - 150 = 70%; 151 - 500 = 50%; 501 - 1,000 = 30%; 1,001 - 3,000 = 15%; 3,001 - 5,000 = 8%; More than 5,000 = 5%. In other words, a company with 17,000 locally-based employees would need at least 850 employees to participate for its results to be statistically valid and qualify for the Best Places competition. A company with 100 employees would need 70 of its employees to participate, and so on.

The top scoring companies will be honored at an event on Sept. 13, 2013. Winning companies will also be recognized in a special section published by Atlanta Business Chronicle the same day. For more information on the Sept. 13 event, go to www.chronicle-events.com or e-mail areich@bizjournals.com.
