Intro: Unlike the other two Budokai games, Budokai 3 has a lot more depth and strategy to it's fighting system. The new fighting system is called "The Saiyan Overdrive Fighting System." The new additions to the new fighitng system is being able to dodge your opponents attacks, able to teleport, and being able to fly in the air anytime you want. This FAQ is to show you how Broly is one of the greatest fighters in Budokai 3. I will also tell you about Broly's combos, all of his capsules, and where to find the 7 dragonballs in Broly's DU. II. Broly's Pros and Cons: Pros: 1.Baseline Ki starts at 4 2.Builds Ki at a fast rate 3.Broly's transformation gives you 20% attack power, instead of just the average 5% or 10% boost that other characters get from a transformation. 4.He is an offensive fighter, rather than a defensive fighter. 5.Takes out more damage than most other fighters. Cons: 1.Kind of slow. 2.Broly is a big target. This is a con, because other characters can combo off of Broly easily. III. Basic Moves and Combos: The damage done by these combos is Broly in base form, not LSSJ form.Some of the combination of moves change if you are in LSSJ form. For example, the >PKK changes. Advanced Combos: These are combos that I made up with Broly. You will need to know how to do cancel combos if you want to pull off any of these combos. Their are moves that can be charged by holding a button. Keep holding the button and you will hit your opponent with an unblockable attack. While charging your attack you can press the guard button, then you will be in your guard stance. After that your opponent will be stuned, then you can continue pounding your opponent with another combo. You cannot however continue using the same cancel combo to your opponent, because your opponent will eventually juggle into the air. I will tell you what the capsules do, and how to get the capsules as well. Ability Capsules: 1."Legendary Super Sayian" How to get: Play DU with Broly. Effect: Need at least 5 ki gauges to transform. Once transformed, you cannot go back to your regular state. 2."Blaster Shell" How to get: Play DU with Broly. Effect: Death Move, you need at least 1 ki bar to activate ability. 3."Gigantic Press" How to get: Find in DU or buy from skill shop. Effect: Death move, you need 2 ki bars to activate ability. Need to be a Legendary Super Sayian to use. 4."Gigantic Meteor" How to get: Play DU with Broly. Effect: Ultimate move, you need to be a LSSJ to use. It takes 5 ki bars to use. 5."Breakthrough" How to get: Wish from the dragon. Effect: Can use all of Broly's abilities. Equipment Capsules: To get all of the Equipment Capsules for Broly, you have to buy them from the Skill Shop. You can wish the capsule "Legendary Body Wrap" from the dragon. 1."Kakarots Crying" Effect: 10% increase in Attack Power. 2."Strongman's Body Wrap" Effect: 10% increase in Defensive Power. 3."King's Body Wrap" Effect: 20% increase in Defensive Power. 4."God of Destruction Body Wrap" Effect: 30% increase in Defensive Power. 5."Legendary Body Wrap" Effect: 40% increase in Defensive Power. 6."Potential" Effect: Attack Power increases for fixed time period. 7."Hatred of Kakarot" Effect: Attack Power & Defensive Power increases at regular intervals. 8."Rage!" Effect: Attack Power increases in the first 10 seconds of battle! 9."Rage!!" Effect: Attack Power increases in the first 15 seconds of battle! 10."Rage!!!" Effect: Attack Power increases in the first 20 seconds of battle! 11."Spirit!" Effect: Defensive Power increases in the first 10 seconds of battle! 12."Spirit!!" Effect: When Ki Gauage is above baseline, automatic consumption of Ki will be reduced. 19."Overtension" Effect: Attack Power increased and Health slowly decreases. 20."Gero's Deflection R&D" Effect: Auto Deflect Ki Blast Wave. 21."Gero's Deflect-Back R&D" Effect: Auto Deflect-Back Ki Blast Wave. 22."Gero's Energy R&D" Effect: If Deflect or Deflect-Back is successful, Ki increases by a fixed amount. 23."Viral Heart Disease" Effect: Slowly drains the Health of both characters. 24."Paragas' Admonsihment" Effect: Reduce amount of Ki used. 25."Yakon" Effect: Comrade or Enemy, Ki consumption accelerates in a transformed state. 26."God of Destruction's Arrogance" Effect: Suppress Ki Gauge consumption during Hyper Mode. 27."Turtle Shell" Effect: Ki Gauge consumption will be doubled during dodging and teleporting. 28."Concentration" Effect: Ki Gauge consumption during dodging and teleporting will be halved. Item Capsules: To get all of the Item Capsules listed below, buy them from the Skill Shop. 1."Tempura Bowl" Effect: Recover 1 Health Gauge. 2."Tonkatsu(Fried Pork)Bowl" Effect: Recover 2 Health Gauges. 3."Chicken & Egg Bowl" Effect: Recover 3 Health Gauges. 4."Chilled Juice" Effect: Recover 3 Ki Gauges. 5."Well Chilled Juice" Effect: Recover 5 Ki Gauges. 6."Extremely Chilled Juice" Effect: Recover all Ki Gauges. 7."1/3 Senzu Bean" Effect: Recover Health by 1/3 and 3 Ki Gauges. 8."1/2 Senzu Bean" Effect: Recover Health by 1/2 and 5 Ki Gauges. 9."Senzu Bean" Effect: Health and Gauge fully recovered. 10."King-Kai's Water" Effect: Suppress Ki Gauge consumption for 10 seconds after activating skill. 11."Supreme Kai's Water" Effect: Suppress Ki Gauge consumption for 20 seconds after activating skill. 12."Grand Supreme Kai's Water" Effect: Suppress Ki Gauge consumption for 30 seconds after activating skill. 13."Super Holy Water Drop" Effect: Attack Power Up for 10 seconds after activating skill. 14."Super Holy Water Bottle" Effect: Attack Power Up for 20 seconds after activating skill. 15."Super Holy Water" Effect: Attack Power Up for 30 seconds after activating skill. 16."Hercule Drink" Effect: Defensive Power Up for 10 seconds after activating skill. 17."Hercule Drink DX" Effect: Defensive Power Up for 20 seconds after activating skill. 18."Hercule Drink SP" Effect: Defensive Power Up for 30 seconds after activating skill. 19."Super Kami Water Drop" Effect: Attack Power Up, but loss of control for 10 seconds after activating skill. 20."Super Kami Water Bottle" Effect: Attack Power Up, but loss of control for 20 seconds after activating skill. 21."Super Kami Water" Effect: Attack Power Up, but loss of control for 30 seconds after activating skill. 22."Portable Shield(Prototype)" Effect: Ki-based attack damage is reduced for 10 seconds after activating skill. 23."Portable Sheild(Improved)" Effect: Ki-based attack damage is reduced for 20 seconds after activating skill. 24."Portable Sheild(Production)" Effect: Ki-based attack damage is reduced for 30 seconds after activating skill. 25."Portable Barrier System" Effect: Ki-based attack damage is nullified for 10 seconds after activating skill. 26."Gero Style Defense System" Effect: Ki-based attack damage is nullified for 20 seconds after activating skill. 27."Gero Style Barrier System" Effect: Ki-based attack damage is nullified for 30 seconds after activating skill. 28."Bibidi's Pot" Effect: Random effect activated from among all item skills. 29."Vaccine" Effect: Nullify the effect of Viral Heart Disease. 30."Senzu Root" Effect: Ki Gauge completely recovers at time of skill activation and is not consumed for 5 seconds. 31."Senzu Leaf" Effect: Ki Gauge completely recovers at time of skill activation and is not consumed for 10 seconds. 32."Senzu Seedling" Effect: Ki Gauge completely recovers at time of skill activation and is not consumed for 15 seconds. 33."Centipede Eel Soup" Effect: Fatigue Level is dispelled. 34."Chicken-fried 7-Seasoned Toad" Effect: Attack Power is greatly raised, but Defensive Power is greatly lowered. 35."Paozusaurus Tail" Effect: Attack Power is terribly raised, but Defensive Power is terribly lowered. VI. Location of All 7 DragonBalls: 1.First find the Dragon Radar, it is far South of the continent on the West Side. 2.Now to find the DragonBalls, first go to the Frozen Island and search around there. 3.The next one is on the island Southeast of West City. 4.Go to the North City and search around there. 5.Now go off the coast, in the ocean to the Northeast. 6.Next go to the Mountains on the Southwest side of the map. 7.In the North, and a little bit East on the very border of the coast in-between two mountain ranges. 8.The last DragonBall is located off the coast and in the Northeast.
