Construction on Portland's newest bridge, between the Marquam and Ross Island Bridges, began July 2011. All river traffic, including DragonSports dragon boats and outrigger canoes, are subject to no-wake zones and should stay within the 400-foot-wide channel in the center of the river as shown here. Many DragonSports Teams participate in Rose Festival, but the races are organized by the Portland-Kaohsiung Sister City Association, not DragonSports.
