Hat hair Harry! Styles' famous mane looks less than sleek as he removes his beanie while jetting back to London

He's famous throughout the world for his usually picture perfect hair.

But Harry Styles appeared to have fallen victim to hat hair as he jetted back to London from Scotland on Sunday night.

The One Direction star displayed his less than groomed 'do as he removed his beanie hat while making his way through Heathrow Airport in London.

Harry teamed the hat with a long-sleeved top and sheer black jumper with skinny black jeans and brown boots, happily greeting and posing up with fans before making his way to his waiting car.

The 18-year-old singer was flying back from Glasgow, where he met up with friend Ellis Calcutt, 18, and went for dinner at Pizza Hut in Argyle Street.

Over the weekend, Harry had attended the NRJ Awards in Cannes, France, alongside his bandmates and taken home the award for Best International Group.

However, the event proved somewhat awkward for Harry - as his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift was also at the ceremony.

According to reports, Taylor ensured her timing at the awards did not clash at all with Harry's - delaying her big entrance by 25 minutes to avoid running into the floppy-haired singer.

A source told USMagazine.com: 'It was very carefully timed so they didn't do the carpet at the same time.

'Taylor didn't do any backstage interviews and didn't use a dressing room - she changed at the hotel because she didn't want to see Harry at any point.

'Things were timed to keep them apart and for it to not become a big media circus.'

As well as posing up for photographers on the red carpet, Taylor also performed her hit track We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.

Taylor is famed for writing tracks about her exes - which include Conor Kennedy, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer - but while many fans guess as to who the subjects of her songs are, she rarely tells.

Taylor has been open about using her failed relationships as subjects for her tracks.

She said: 'Well, it's not like it's in fine print but music is absolutely everything that I am and everything that I stand for.

'It's not my fault if someone gets into a relationship with me and then cheats and I write a song about it.'
