She is the classy Welsh wife of actor Michael Douglas, often covering up and still managing to turn heads with her appearance.

But on Monday, Catherine Zeta Jones drew attention to her stunning figure as she graced American television to promote her new film.

The 43-year-old arrived on the stage to record the Tonight Show with Jay Leno wearing a dress which simply wowed.

Her lacy frock gave the illusion of being see-through around the bust area with it's flesh-coloured lining and plunged to give her ample cleavage.

While the black number rippled and featured layered fringing to flatter her middle section, it stopped mid-thigh to show off her toned legs.

Even as the star rested her Christian Louboutin clad feet as she sat on the host’s sofa, her polished pins looked incredible as she elegantly folded them.

Aside from her enviable figure, Catherine’s face was looking extremely youthful for her years, her lip glossed pout appearing especially plump.

The screen star’s glossy mane was styled wavy and over one shoulder for her interview, to highlight her latest flick.

Broken City, in which she stars as the cheating wife of Russell Crowe's shady Mayor of New York character, opened Friday to luke-warm reviews.

Moving on, however, the mother of two is currently filming the comedy, Red 2.

The film, based on a comic book series about the adventures of aging hit men and women, also stars Bruce Willis, Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren.

Her actor husband, Michael Douglas, will be seen in the much anticipated HBO TV movie Behind the Candelabra. Douglas plays Las Vegas wonder boy Liberace opposite Matt Damon, who stars as the late entertainer's lover Scott Thorson.

It's an open-secret that Catherine has been shaving ten years off her age since her career started. It worked when she had youth on her side, but now that she's getting into middle-age the tell-tale signs are making it more and more obvious that she's older than she says she is. I've always thought she was extremely beautiful, but her 'youthfulness' would be even more impressive if she'd admit she was actually 53 and not 43.

The most embarrassing interview ever, what is she trying to be? That awful fake American/Welsh accent just sounds ridiculous and the false joviality to please the American audience. About time she was just herself, far more appealing than this fake person. She looks her age and what's wrong with that?

Okay, red arrow me if you will, but she has definitely had work done on her lips. She's got massive crows feet, so whilst I don't get the botoxed look, I am really quite surprised she didn't go the whole hog and have her eye area filled too.

CZJ...What an odd--but beautiful--one. I still remember YEARS ago reading that she was older than her 43 years, that she was closer to 48. This news came out when she first started up with MD. As well, I do recall reading that there was some issue with her driver's license at the White House (Secret Service verification business) and, of course, the age on it. Really, who cares? But then, there is more. More with her litigiousness (remark made during some law suit about how millions were nothing for her family). More with her self-aggrandizing interviews where she constantly puts herself into the sexual fore (as above, with the horse appendage), etc. Too, she always refers to her jewelry as "rocks" and used to repeatedly talk about how she tells her kids that "Mommy makes movies while Daddy makes pancakes." NY Post once did a poll and listed her once as one of the most dence celebrities ever. This may be true, but she is absolutely gorgeous. Hands down.
