Heavy metal Housewife! Brandi Glanville displays her long legs in a very short metallic strapless dress at book launch

She was attending the launch of her new book.

So of course Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville had to be the centre of attention for the occasion.

The 40-year-old reality star made sure to stand out in the crowd by slipping into a very short strapless metallic number for the event held at the Palihouse in West Hollywood.

The chocolate satin ensemble featuring lace overlay helped show off plenty of her long, slim and tanned legs, and her decolletage.

Brandi also got a boost with her near-matching lace stilettos and she continued the metallic theme with a sparkling silver clutch featuring chain detailing.

The blonde star wore her long locks out in a wavy style and had pretty drop earrings in her ears.

Budding author: Brandi's book, titled Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders, will be released next month on February 13th

Brandi was joined by fellow reality star Jennifer Gimenez, who has appeared in four episodes of RHOB.

Brandi's book, titled Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders, will be released next month on February 13th.

It is described as 'a play on her use of Twitter to rebuff LeAnn Rimes’ own constant tweets regarding Glanville’s young sons and now ex-husband, Cibrian'.

It also acts as a memoir, recalling her marriage breakdown with ex-husband Eddie, and his cheating scandal involving his new wife LeAnn.

One person who was most definitely not on the guest list at the event on Monday evening was LeAnn herself.

Brandi recently got underneath LeAnn's skin once again when in a surprise interview she was asked to rate Eddie 'in the bedroom' on a scale on one to ten.

Tanned: Brandi appeared to had applied some shimmering bronzer to her already golden hue

'I would say he’s a nine,' the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star replied, without hesitation.

'I was with him for 13 years,' she added. 'I wouldn’t stay if it wasn’t, like, a total package.

But despite her admiration of the 39-year-old's bedroom skills, Brandi left viewers of Watch What Happens Live under no illusions about her feelings for her cheating ex.

Asked if the pair would ever reunite she said 'no' and added that the father of her two sons 'makes my skin crawl'.

'He, at this point … I care about him as the father of my children … [but] even if we’re in the same room, he makes my skin crawl,' she said.

Brandi then talked about Eddie's new wife LeAnn, who she described as his 'sugar mama', saying her ex had always dreamed of an affluent lifestyle of the type LeAnn could provide.

And she revealed that LeAnn watched her reality show.

Shocked by the cameras? Lisa looked surprised when she was snapped out the front of the popular venue

'I know she does because [my son] Jakey saw a picture of you and said, "Oh, that's Le-Le's favorite show."

'Jakey's five. So you're her favorite show,' she told the host.

'She's watching now. Hi, LeAnn! Hi Le-Le. Call me!'

But LeAnn took to Twitter to deny watching the show, writing: 'Wow the texts from my friend. KISSES and KMA [kiss my ass]'.
