Just under two months ago he required stitches to reattach his ear after a 'dangerous fight' in Switzerland.

Now Marilyn Manson appears to have suffered from another ailment.

The goth rocker collapsed on stage in Canada during a live concert.

In Youtube footage posted online, the 44-year-old, real name Brian Warner, is seen keeling over in the middle of singing Beautiful People at the TCU Place in Saskatoon.

As the crowd went wild in the mosh pit, Manson at first seemed in good form screaming out the lyrics of his hit song.

But after a couple of minutes he was on the floor.

Despite the collapse, his band kept playing, none the wiser of his condition.

But when Manson failed to resume singing and get back on his feet, a member of his stage crew tended to him and helped him off stage.

It has since been revealed that Manson is currently suffering from the flu.

Sources told TMZ that Manson did not want to cancel his Canada show so he decided to go ahead despite feeling unwell earlier throughout the day.

When he hit the stage Manson began to feel even worse, reportedly vomiting several times before he collapsed.

While he was extremely ill, the rocker did not go to hospital and instead apparently went back to his hotel for some much-needed bed rest.

And despite now feeling 'exhausted', he is still planning on performing in Calgary on Friday night.

Manson's illness comes after he was involved in a brutal fight in Switzerland in December.

The rocker required 24 stitches to reattach his ear to his head following the fracas during his Twins of Evil tour in Europe.

Following the injury, the rocker tweeted a picture of his ear along with details of the altercation.

'I was hit by a glass table in a dangerous fight,' he tweeted. 'I was however, the victor but had to have 24 stitches to keep my ear from becoming Van Goth.'

In another tweet, simply entitled 'my ear,' he posted a picture of his ear plastered with surgical tape.

Manson, real name Brian Warner, is currently dating American photographer Lindsay Usich and has previously been in relationships with Dita Von Teese and Evan Rachel Wood.

He recently admitted he would be interested in having children with Usich, who he has been dating since 2010.

'My girlfriend Lindsay's twin just had a baby and I've started to think that maybe I wouldn't mind passing my demented genius on to some small thing who can set fire and breathe profanity,' he told The Observer earlier this summer.

'I am drawn to women who are independent and creative, which is problematic because it's a struggle, a competition of careers,' he added.

'There's jealousy. And if you don't want to be known as Marilyn Manson's girlfriend, why would you be it?'

Have big respect for MM, great guy, but c'mon, 'flu'? More like a bad batch of whatever he was injecting that evening.

I'm 43 years old and saw him for the first time 3 years ago, unfortunately he didn't have his big stage show and dress going on but I still was not disappointed. I still love his music. Get well MM and get back to Texas soon!
