A notice to all manga lovers: The unauthorized distribution of manga which have been illegally uploaded to the internet is a practice that has become rife in recent times. Unfortunately, there are also sites which brazenly promote this kind of behavior. This situation has saddened many manga artists, and even threatens the continued existence of the environment which supports the creation of manga.

Illegal copying and uploading is done without the permission of the artists, damages the integrity of their work as well as steals any royalties they are rightfully due. We have to protect manga which the artists have spent so much time, effort and passion in creating from this kind of illegal activity.

Square Enix Group has come up with various measures in consultation with manga artists to tackle the problem of illegal copying and uploading on the net. To maintain its future viability, we will continue to take legal steps to crack down hard on the illegal copying, distribution and uploading of manga.

To ensure the rights of the artist and the success of the manga culture, we ask for everybody's cooperation in not carrying out or making use of illegal copying and uploading.
