    One thing to know: Faith in ‘legitimate chance’ reports?

    A report states Robert Griffin III has a “legitimate chance” to start Week 1 after tearing an ACL in the playoffs. Mike Florio points out that it’s hard to judge what qualifies as a legitimate chance, and we can’t assume RGIII will return and have a spectacular season like Adrian Peterson had in Minnesota.

      Legitimate meaning "Kirk Cousins will be our QB week 1 but we want to keep our opponents guessing". No way in HELL, RG3 comes back in less time after tearing BOTH his LCL & MCL. We`re not just talking the multiple tears but he`s a QB his range of motion`s different from Peterson. This is `Skins pop psychology and for RG3`s long term health & success it should be only that.

      I'll only listen when it's towards the beginning of the season. As long as he doesn't re-tear his ACL or something along those lines then it's not big news.

      This is so disingenuous !!!! I would say stupid but it is a smart ploy by the Redskins front office in selling season tickets!! But I hope RG III just focuses on himself and his recovery so he knows when he is able to come back 100%!!

      now that AP had his season everyone will benchmark that when it's the exception rather than the norm. even james andrews called it a miracle.
