Cruising along nicely: Jason Segel heads out on a scooter in first public appearance since Michelle Williams split

He is said to have 'quietly ended' his year-long romance with Michelle Williams last month.
But Jason Segel looked far from heartbroken as he made his first public appearance since the split on Saturday.
Smiling through the pain, the 33-year-old actor made the most of the sunny day by heading out on his scooter in West Hollywood, California.

The Five Year Engagement star seemed to be in great spirits as he headed out for the day, and looked happy and relaxed as he coasted through the streets on his shiny brown Vespa.
Jason kept it casual for his day out, teaming camel chinos with a cobalt T-shirt, a navy cardigan and trainers, while sensibly wearing a helmet on his head.
The star was evidently keen to make the most of the Californian sunshine by wearing his visor up to feel the rays on his face.

Jason's appearance comes just days after it was revealed he had split from Michelle Williams after they struggled to keep their long-distance romance going.
The actor lives in Los Angeles where his CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother is filmed, while Michelle lives with her seven-year-old daughter Matilda in New York.
A source told US Weekly at the time: 'They had a lot of fun, but it just didn't work. The breakup was mutual.'

The pair were only recently photographed together looking happy as they celebrated the New Year with Michelle's best friend Busy Philipps - who is believed to have introduced them - and her husband in Mexico in January.
Jason was the first man Michelle was publicly seen dating since her former partner Heath Ledger died of an overdose in 2008 - five months after they had separated - and he seemed to have forged a close relationship with Matilda.
But friends claimed Michelle ultimately wasn't ready to commit to the bi-coastal relationship.
It's over: Jason and Michelle, pictured on holiday in Mexico in January, called time on their year-long romance last month after the pressures of a bi-coastal relationship became too much
A source told People magazine: 'She cares a great deal for Jason but is not ready to make a commitment. Maybe if they were together day-to-day, she would have more confidence in a future. But not at this time.
'Jason never got rid of his place in LA, and Michelle's life with Matilda was and has always been in New York.
'While Jason made every effort to make them a priority in his life – and they were top priority – he still couldn't drop everything and leave his life and career in LA.'
Since the split, Michelle has been busy promoting her new movie, Oz: The Great and Powerful, alongside James Franco, Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz.

Michelle is well done with the suety, smirking, so-called 'comedian' Jason Segel. Sour sneers, snarks and sniggers satisfy not the need for solace, succor and sentiment!
