Victoria... in workmen's boots! Mrs Beckham gets tough in mannish style footwear as she ditches her heels again

She's previously admitted that she 'can't concentrate in flats' while she's barely ever seen without heels on her feet.

But Victoria Beckham has been spotted making a very rare outing in flat boots.

The fashion designer always ensures she increases her height and accentuates her high fashion clothing with her stilettos.

But Beckham has now revealed she does actually own some flat footwear.

That's not like her! Victoria ditched her stilettos for flats for once for the errand outing

The 38-year-old stepped out with middle son Romeo, 10, as they stocked up on stationery in their new local London neighbourhood.

And rather than totter around in heels Victoria opted for some Chelsea boots to run her errands.

But she of course still looked stylish, wearing a long coat and sunglasses, but again making an unusual style choice for her in rolled up jeans.

She held on to Romeo's hand after stepping out of the Ryman shop with her son clutching his bag off goodies.

It could be that they were stocking up on stationery as Romeo would have recently started a new school since the Beckhams relocated from America to Britain for David's move to Paris Saint-Germain football team.

Romeo showed off his own style in jeans, a Pink Floyd T-shirt and khaki jacket as he left with his famous mum.

Victoria is known for her love of shoes - albeit in particular heels.

And it was only recently that she collaborated with famed shoe designer Manolo Blahnik, who created the catwalk shoes for Beckham's latest New York Fashion Week shows.

Blahnik said of Beckham: 'She's a dream to work with. I love people who really work, and she does. She works like she's possessed.

That's more like it! It wasn't long before Victoria returned to her heels that she is well known for

'It's really incredible and she's really exciting to work with. And it's good that she's in England now of course. Everybody should move to England!'

Beckham has previously said of wearing flat shoes: 'I just can't concentrate in flats I could go to the gym if I wore flats, I'd love to go to the gym, but I just can't get my head around the footwear.'

Meanwhile Victoria was seen later this morning out and about with her mini-me daughter Harper.
