Tanning Mom has revealed that she is working on a film based on the past year of her life.

The ultra-bronzed mother-of-five, 44, whose real name is Patricia Krentcil, hit headlines last April when she was arrested for taking her then five-year-old daughter, Anna, into a tanning booth.

But now that the legal case against her has been dropped she told In Touch magazine that she planning to stay in the spotlight by starring in a movie that will 'portray everything that’s happened'.

Mrs Krentcil was charged with second-degree child endangerment for taking her young daughter to a tanning salon where she allegedly suffered severe burns on her body.

The girl, who has fair skin and red hair, told a school nurse she had 'gone tanning with mommy' when staff at her school asked her about burns on her skin.

The incident attracted worldwide publicity and Mrs Krentcil from Nutley, New Jersey, was dubbed the world's worst mother in the U.S. by haters.

As well as having her own problems to deal with she said that the negative publicity has also impacted on her family.

Her teenage children Ashley, 18, Alec, 17, and Austin, 15, were 'badgered at school' following the incident, while  Anna, now six, and Addison, four, have been hit by stress.

'We were all mentally abused, for no reason,' she exclaimed.

Filled with rage she is now considering taking action against the school nurse who originally reported her.

'She needs to be fired. If a child is sick, you call the parents. Why did she call the police. It was all a set up,' she stated.

The incident has left her with thousands in legal bills to pay and with her stock broker husband, Rich, 47, out of work she is trying to cash in on her new-found fame.

Along with her film she recently revealed that she has been working on a tanning lotion line, titled Real Tan Mom Healthy Glow, a book - although she has no agent or publisher - and has been inundated with modelling jobs in London, Paris and New York.

'It's not even near being over,' she said talking about her moment in the spotlight.

Now and then: Mrs Krentcil's tanning days have taken a toll and she is barely recognizable compared to a fresh-faced photo of her in her twenties- she now says that she is trying to avoid tanning salons

'Everyone wants me,' she said, adding 'I have a lot of other opportunities, so I’m just trying to figure out where to move my family.'

On This Morning this week she revealed that her tanning habit started when she was around 23 and then-and-now photographs reveal the aging effects caused by UV exposure.

'Everyone has some form of addictions... But I'm not tanning anymore and I was thinking how stupid it really is,' she said.

During the In Touch interview she was also quizzed about her alcohol-fuelled appearance at a New York drag show, where witnesses claim she shouted expletives at the audience, kicked over her wine glass, and even tried to 'attack' the drag queen hosting the event.

'I was drugged,' she simply replied.

Other songs I would like to suggest for her soundtrack: Fire by The Pointer Sisters. For the poignant moments: Fire and Rain by James Taylor. But the opening and closing credits should have the music of The Ohio Players...and guess what the name of the song is?

I don't know if I'd say that she rose to fame...more like, rose to infamy? Rose to the appalled attention of the public? It's a lesson when you see how nice she looked as a young woman, and compare that to now. Not a long span of time in between, and yet look at the change. A good reason to walk away from tanning beds while you're young! I know seeing women like her was what caused ME to walk away from those things...

This is sad! Her husband needs to step in and get her out of the limelight... she must be embarrassing her children terribly and I think she needs some mental help!

The film plot on her "rise to fame": scene 1 get accused of trying to get your five year old into a tanning bed, scene 2 deny it, scene 3 no evidence so charges are dropped scene 4 roll the credits. Did I miss anything? You are the lowest form of attention Ho - We all pity your kid - go away now.
