Workgroups

The Linux Foundation hosts workgroups where individuals can collaborate to solve complex issues facing the Linux platform. The work of many of these workgroups may eventually become best practice and codified into the Linux Standard Base and/or may be submitted as patches to the mainline kernel tree or other packages. Participation is open to all.

How to Join a Workgroup Joining a Linux Foundation workgroup is easy. Make sure you're logged into your account and click on the workgroup that you are interested in joining. On the right hand side you will see a link for Request Membership. Fill out the required information and your request will be sent to the appropriate workgroup administrator.

To Suggest A New Workgroup We are always looking to help organize the efforts of the Linux community. If you have an idea for a new workgroup, please contact us.
