They are definitely a trend-setting family, even being so fashionable as to copy each other's hairstyles.

And it seems proud mother Kourtney Kardashian has taken a leap out of her son Mason's book by getting bangs, highlighting just how much her little boy carries the Kardashian gene.

In fact, the look made the 33-year-old mother and son duo looked picture perfect as they stepped at Label's Table in LA - followed by Scott Disick and baby Penelope.

Although Mason may have looked cute as a button onlookers said the three-year-old was far from happy as he left the restaurant - screaming at his casually dressed mother who kept her slim frame covered in loose jeans and a jumper.

As Kourtney, who managed to shed a huge 45lbs of baby weight, left the restaurant her eldest was heard to be complaining but rather than lose her temper, the reality starlet merely laughed at her son.

Mother-of-two Kourtney revealed her new bangs last week as the Kourtney and Kim Take Miami star gleefully captioned a self-portrait on Twitter with a grateful shout-out to her stylist: 'Glam party with @makeupmatthew and Peter Savic cut me some bangs!'

The reality star's post generated some complimentary replies amongst her over 3,500,000 Instagram followers.

One fan wrote: '#sexy #bangs' Another follower commented: 'Wow!!!! You look amazing!!!'

Meanwhile later on that day the family were spotted at The La Brea Tar Pits.

Kourtney looked amazing wearing a white see-through blouse with black Monika Chiang leather pants and designer flats while Mason had a blast, running around and asking questions.

The La Brea Tar Pits are a cluster of tar pits around which Hancock Park was formed, in urban Los Angeles.

And they fell out at the beach when Scott again questioned her about her figure.

'It would be nice if you were in a wild little flossy bikini,' he said.

What the hell are bangs? Am I missing something or is this how we refer to a fringe now? Why do we have to change everything to suit a US audience

Well pardon me for being out of fashion, what with having a partner for 21 years who respects and loves me regardless of how I look and doesn't go around sulking and looking as though he'd rather be somewhere else. Also my partner has a JOB and is a brilliant hands-on father.

I actually feel so sorry for Penelope. Kourtney is just so obsessed with Mason which is clear to see in the new episodes of KKTM. Even in Paris she put a lock on the bridge saying Momey and Mason...what about your daughter Kourtney??! And she always seems miserable when shes around her...and i need to get a life and stop watching this crap

Mason really does appear to be a well adjusted, giving, sweet and happy little boy. I am not a fan of any of the Kardashians but obviously Kourtney and Scott are doing a good job in the parenting arena.
