If you want to find Amanda Bynes these days, try a wig shop.

The retired actress, who turns 27 next month, has tweeted pictures of herself in four different coloured hair-pieces.

On Saturday, Amanda shared a picture of herself winking into a MAC compact while wearing heavy eye makeup, a large curly blonde wig under a red beanie, and a camouflage top.

The troubled starlet has lately turned to the popular social networking site to write increasingly bizarre posts about attending 'stripper classes' and 'forgetting past memories.'

Last month, Bynes announced she hoped to shed 20lbs off her already slender frame.

'I gain weight quickly so I need to work out constantly,' she told Us Weekly.

'I moved to New York City and I love it! I lost 4 lbs since I moved. I'm 121 lbs - my goal is 100 lbs.'

Her fans initially expressed concern last year after Amanda had several brushes with the law involving her car.

A year ago, Bynes was stopped by police for driving while talking on her cell phone.

Then in April she was charged with a DUI after allegedly side-swiping a police car following a night at a West Hollywood club.

Amanda's car was impounded and her license was suspended in September, but her two  hit-and-run charges were dismissed by the court in December.

When someone starts wearing strange wigs and start to change their hair very often, then it's often a sign of emotional turmoil. It's not a good sign at all, she needs help.
