EA and BioWare give fans of Mass Effect an extra reason to be chipper.
In a surprisingly charitable gesture, EA and BioWare have released the official soundtrack for the Mass Effect 3: Citadel DLC for free via the BioWare Social Network.
The 20-track long compilation features all the new tracks featured in the last bit of DLC for Mass Effect 3. All players need to do to download this set is visit this webpage and log-in with either their Origin or BioWare account.
Game soundtracks are slowly gaining more and more traction in the respectability stakes, with celebrated composers like Hans Zimmer and Clint Mansell lending their considerable talents from movies to games.
Making soundtracks free-to-download only increases the potential audience these works attract and we hope that EA follow a similar tact for their other releases in the future.
