Jessica Biel is fashion forward in crochet trousers while Justin Timberlake sticks to a classic suit at Timbaland's birthday bash

She's known for her rather simple taste.

But Jessica Biel pulled out all the stops as she accompanied Justin Timberlake to music executive Timbaland's birthday party on Thursday night.

Wearing a transparent pair of black crochet trousers that highlighted her perfect legs, the actress' smile appeared to show she knew she looked good.

Underneath Jessica, 31, wore a pair of tiny black shorts.

Her eye-opening ensemble also featured black floor-length coat, white fitted blouse with prim collar, red-tipped black heels and pretty black handbag.

Justin's wife of five months was simply glowing, wearing her hair pulled back in a ponytail with her bangs brushed to one side.

The SexyBack singer, 32, was seen following Jessica a step or two behind, looking no less dashing in a three-piece dark suit that included a tasteful waistcoat, dapper hat and scarf.

Justin wore a sheepish grin on his face as he held onto Jessica's hand.

Although Jessica was the one paving the way through the crowded venue, it's Justin who approves her clothes before they head out anywhere.

'We both really love fashion,' Jessica told The Sun . 'There are definitely moments where I’ll come out in an outfit and he’ll give me that look!

'He’ll take me back into the closet and I’ll change my shoes and I’m like, ‘Yeah, this is way better.’ Sometimes I won’t change.'

Timbaland's annual celebration brought an interesting mix of guests.

Also at the venue were Jay-Z, Chelsea Clinton and Jamie Foxx.

Jessica Biel is one of the very few actresses who can go without any makeup at all. I think all she has on is a bit of concealer and some mascara. She's truly, naturally beautiful.

trousers are too long, angelina jolie likes them too long as well - it doesn't make them look taller - just silly. anyways i like jessica + JT
