Rainbow bright: A very colourful Alicia Keys follows husband Swizz Beatz's footsteps, quite literally, by launching her own Reebok trainer line

Her husband became creative director of Reebok two years ago.

So it was only a matter of time before Alicia Keys would follow in Swizz Beatz's footsteps, quite literally, by launching her own set of trainers.

And the singer decided to do it in style as she showed up at her Reebok trainer launch standing out in some very bright clothing on Thursday.

Alicia, 32, held the launch at The Grove as she also underwent an interview with entertainment show Extra to promote the high top sneakers.

Deciding to stand out next to the flamboyant colours of the shoes, Keys opted for a white jumper with a pink and yellow pattern, which she wore with dark green skinny jeans.

And if that wasn't enough colour, the Unbreakable hitmaker modelled one of her designs with a pair of matching yellow, hot pink and black high tops.

She also showed off a few of her other designs, one in a neon pink/orange and a less flamboyant all white pair.

Alica grinned widely as she completed her look with her short bob and hooped earrings.

And after finishing her interview, she then posed for photos next to Swizz as they held up a shoe each.

Beatz went for white trousers and a printed T-shirt with a trilby hat and sunglasses as he held up a brown and khaki trainer to support his wife.

The couple were then seen leaving holding hands after promoting the line, with them stepping in time in their colourful shoes.

At the unveiling of Swizz's partnership with Reebok in New York in 2011, he compared himself with some of the world's most famous fashion designers.

He said: ‘I want y’all to understand the movement and the opportunity that we all have.

'Reebok is definitely back. I am happy to be the creative director globally.

‘That puts me up there with the Marc Jacobs and Karl Lagerfelds.

'To have that position coming from the South Bronx… I tell everybody that the sky is not the limit, it’s just the view.’

Family day out: Following the trainer launch, Alicia and Swizz got changed and took son Egypt out for a sunny stroll

Family outing: They popped for a bite to eat at Earth Bar in West Hollywood before leaving looking relaxed and content

Alicia looks beautiful and happy and Egypt is just adorable. I think I like the black shoes she's wearing better, but Alicia looks great in whatever she wears.
