I'm not sure I understand your question. 1863 people have looked at this pattern but I don't know how many of them are Americans. I am glad you like my pattern. |
Thanks from SA for the lovely bib pattern. |
They are very cute. I'm going to make one. I understand the pattern and I'm American. Thank you for sharing your pattern. Eileen |
I think your pattern is lovely. There is one thng I'm uncertain about...Normally in the brick stitch the 2 different colors of yarn are alternated, that is, 2 rows of each color and you are back to the "starting point" to pick up the other color. How do you do the solid color on the other side of the bib? Are you attaching another skein of color A as in intarsia? |
Yes, there are "2 rows of each color and you are back to the "starting point" to pick up the other color". The vertical stitches between the bricks is a slipped stitch. |
How do you do the borders? Is the yarn added like intarsia? |
I Like this so much! Thanks! |
I found your bib on a search and really like how they look. I attempted to knit them and no matter how I did them, my count in row 9 and beyond just would come ouit right. My pattern is one stitch off. I end up with 2 slip stitches at the end. Any help is greatly appreciated. cettlb |
Thank you so much for contacting me. I knit the bib from the pattern today and discovered no less than six errors. I believe the pattern is correct now. My apologies. |
Soooooo cute! I have a website and am posting patterns on it. May I use this one if I give credit? - Little Miss Needles |
