Even though McFarlane Toys seems like a big company considering its amazing figures from such awesome lines as "The Walking Dead," "Halo," and multiple movies over the years, it really is an independent operation. It can't compete with the huge billion dollar companies like Hasbro and Mattel, and that's something that irks CEO Todd McFarlane. "Every time there's a really big license, they back up the breach truck, they dump the cash. And I can't compete with them." When asked about which license he would work on if he could, McFarlane said that he wishes he could strike a very unique deal with said huge companies. He said, "You are the master license of it, but McFarane gets to make one figure."
Find out which ONE figure he would do, if he had access to the licenses that are currently in the hands of the big boys in our Toy Fair video below:

Last month, Rob Liefeld released several pages from his screenplay "iCons" about the birth of Image Comics, along with a few casting suggestions. In adition to Liefeld's pick of Chris Pine to play him, he suggested Geoffrey Arend as Jim Valentino, Joe Mangeniello as Marc Silvestri, Rob Corddry as Erik Larsen, John Cho as Jim Lee, Richard Jenkins as Larry Marder, Tony Sirico as Tom DeFalco, Dabney Coleman as Terry Stewart, and cracked-out "Fighter"-era Christian Bale as Todd McFarlane.
We caught up with McFarlane at the McFarlane Toys booth during Toy Fair to see what he thought of Liefeld's casting choice and whether Bale would make for a good Todd.

Fans of AMC’s zombie sensation "The Walking Dead" are psyched for its return on Sunday, Feb.10 – but we think they’re going to be just as psyched by a new Blu-Ray set that lets you re create the twisted Governor’s “TV” set-up in their home.
In this exclusive first look, gaze upon "The Walking Dead" Third Season Limited Edition Blu-Ray Case– which with a little water, gives you a tank-full of violently decapitated heads, just like The Governor on the show. It’s the coolest/grossest DVD case ever, and we’ve got thoughts from "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman and Todd McFarlane, whose company McFarlane Toys designed it.
