When it comes to her wardrobe the colour which seems to dominate is black.

But opting to switch things up a little bit, on Sunday Nigella Lawson changed her view of the world courtesy of some very interesting frames.

Stopping at her favourite place to eat in central London alongside husband Charles Saatchi, the 53-year-old chef donned a pair of red lens and rimmed sunglasses.

Taking a seat at Scott's, the couple enjoyed a quiet lunch outside the restaurant in Mayfair.

Adding a whole new meaning to 'the look of love', Lawson gazed at Saatchi as she chatted away in between courses.

Nigella and Charles' sit down meal appeared to have followed a shopping trip, as the culinary artist was seen holding a large brown Christian Louboutin carrier bag.

Putting her glasses aside, the mother-of-two of course wore an all black outfit made up of a pair of knee high boots, leggings and a black coat.

In a recent candid interview, Nigella described herself as 'dark' and told of her childhood melancholia.

She said: 'Maybe I didn't feel very lovable for a child. When I was small I just couldn't get out of my little dark place.

'My mother thought I was autistic, because I would be sitting on a swing talking to myself.'

In the interview which was published in Newsweek magazine, Nigella also told of darker times before she entered the limelight.

Lawson, wife of multi-millionaire advertising mogul-cum-art collector Saatchi, said: ‘As I get older I am much less prone to bouts of melancholia.’

She went on: ‘I used to not be able to get up in the morning.’

Nigella admitted that her difficulty in getting up was a known sign of depression, adding ‘Well - I’ve got better at that.

Is she dyslexic? Is that the reason for the red lenses? Did DM think of this before writing the article!?
