She recently spent a few days in Miami topping up her tan alongside her fiancé Jay Rutland.

And proving life is just one big holiday, Tamara Ecclestone was pictured on Saturday soaking up the sun in Mexico.

The 28-year-old was captured showing off her curves in an angelic string bikini as Rutland, 31, stole a few kisses from her.

Wearing her hair up in a messy bun, Ecclestone shielded her eyes from the glare of the sun with a pair of aviator styled shades.

Finishing her lounging look, the heiress accessorised with a several pieces of gold jewellery, and of course her sparkler of an engagement ring.

Matching Tamara's showing, Jay sported a pair of white shorts as the couple headed to the beach.

Having what Ecclestone described on Twitter as a 'perfect day', the newly engaged couple went horse back riding along the shore front.

Loving the time spent with her soon-to-be-husband, Tamara tweeted: 'Best last night in Mexico'.

Last month confirmed her engagement to Jay who proposed just one month after they met.

Tamara told Hello! Magazine: 'Our engagement has been very sudden and I get that there are people who won't understand that and will read things into it.'

Not allowing naysayers to impede on her happiness, she said: 'But my response to that would be, "When you know, you know."

'The thing is, I'd heard people say that before and I'd never really understood it, because I hadn't experienced it for myself. But when I met Jay, I just knew this was the man I was going to marry.'

Tamara was introduced to Rutland, a former Pacific Continental senior broker, in January.

Who is paying for the holiday? I hope it's him, otherwise he is some lucky guy getting it all on a silver platter...any guy in his shoes would not hesitate to propose from the very first date....I hope he genuinely likes her for what she is and not her cash
