That's more like it! Karen Mulder disrobes for a dip showing she's still as svelte as a supermodel despite quitting years ago

She gave passersby a sneak peak of her famous figure earlier in the week when she took to the beach in small black sarong for a day of family fun.

But on Tuesday Dutch model Karen Mulder decided to ditch the cover-up and show off her enviable frame as she cooled off in the sea.

In a scene reminiscent of when Ursula Andress emerged from the water in Dr.No the 44-year-old revealed her flat stomach and lithe limbs as she left the waves in St Barts.

The model, who quit the modelling industry more than a decade ago, opted to wear a flattering strapless black bikini for her day on the beach.

And when things got too hot for her on shore, she decided to take a break in the enticing sea.

Without hesitation she made her way into the waves and with a snorkel mask in hand, she began to explore the underwater world.

Deep breath: While many models would be reluctant to get their hair wet, Karen wasted no time in embracing all the beach has to offer

No bumps or lumps: The model showed she still has an enviable figure with no sign on any excess weight

After a while, once she had had her fill of the fish, she decided to make her way back to the beach.

With her short blonde hair slicked off her face, the stunning model looked like she could be taking part in a photoshoot, rather than just enjoying a relaxing day on the beach.

Just a day earlier Karen was spotting wearing a jet black bikini, while covering up with a small black sarong, as she played with her young daughter Anna on the white sands.

Karen, who spend years battling depression, seemed happy and relaxed as she spun her daughter around, laughing as they paddled in the sea.

While the former supermodel decided to cover up for her day at the beach, she still managed to show off her show-stopping long legs.

Looking a far cry from the catwalk queen and glamorous party girl that she was in the 1990s, Karen went make-up free for her day at the beach and let her short blonde hair hang loose and tousled.

Gone were Mulder's trademark long blonde locks and in their place was a head of shaggy ash-blonde curls as she soaked up the Caribbean sun on the idyllic white sands.

She added a pair of dark sunglasses over her fresh-looking face and wrapped the small sarong around her body so that her stomach was covered.

Karen made sure that she kept an eye on her seven-year-old at all times, lavishing her with attention as they played on the sand.

The Dutch supermodel has stayed largely out of the limelight for the past 10 years following a failed suicide attempt in 2002.

Mulder suffered a tumultuous time since rising to fame alongside Naomi Campbell and her fellow supers in the Nineties.

After entering the modelling industry at the tender age of 15 when she won the Elite Model of the Year contest in 1985, the blonde bombshell enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame.

Mulder returned to the catwalk in July 2007 for the Dior Autumn/Winter 07/08 Couture Collection in Paris, modelling alongside Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Helena Christensen, Amber Valletta, Shalom Harlow, and Stella Tennant.

The identity of Anna's father is still not widely known.
