Daddy's little girl Nahla gives Gabriel Aubry a big kiss as they share a tender moment on school run

Gabriel Aubry may not be her mother's favourite person but little Nahla is certainly his No. 1 fan.

The four-year-old seemed very excited to have her dad taking her to school on Monday, chatting away and giving the French Canadian model a big hug and kiss.

While Gabriel and Nahla's mother, actress Halle Berry, remain lock in a bitter dispute over the little girl, thankfully the preschooler is blissfully unaware of the acrimony between her parents.

Clinging on to her 36-year-old father like a little koala, the four-year-old wrapped her arms around her father's face and planted a big sloppy kiss on his cheek.

As always, Nahla looked adorable wearing a patterned dress with a military inspired navy blue jacket, white stockings and white Mary Jane shoes.

Obviously her father did her hair for her, as Nahla's long curly brown locks were tied back in a pony tail.

Gabriel also look very well put together wearing denim jeans, a chambray shirt over a white T-shirt, a grey cap and shoes.

Showing off that he is in great shape, the former model carried Nahl in one arm and her lunchbox and book bag in the other with ease.

Clearly Nahla adores her father but the little girl has ended up being stuck in the middle of a battle between Gabriel and Halle since they split 2010.

Since then the pair have been engaged in a bitter custody battle which intensified last year when the Monster's Ball star and her new boyfriend Olivier Martinez wanted to permanently move to Paris with Nahla.

While the pair reached a comprise that sees them split custody and Nahla has to remain in America, the bitterness between them has not alleviated.

The feud exploded on Thanksgiving last year when the model and Halle's new French Beau traded blows and the police had to be called.

Gabrielle, who was pictured with a black eye and other facial injuries, was initially charged in the incident, but was later cleared with the French-Canadian ordered to stay out of trouble for the next year.

The 46-year-old Oscar winner and Olivier both reportedly felt it would not be in Nahla's best interest to prosecute her father for the fight.

Since then the pair have made sure to keep their distance from each other with the model and his ex taking turns at doing the school runs.
