A bad disguise! Vanessa Hudgens unsuccessfully tries to blend in at the gym as she steps out in loud leggings

With just four days until her long awaited movie is released, Vanessa Hudgens may have to get used to being recognised.

The Spring Breakers star failed to slip into gym class incognito on Monday thanks to her choice in gymwear.

Even if she was not famous, the 24-year-old would have stood out in the grey and white patterned leggings.

The star and a friend were not keen to see cameras as they arrived for their daily work out in Studio City, California.

The young actress first tried to hide her face by pulling her cap down as she drove into the gym's carpark.

Clearly the actress was not in the mood to be famous flipping photographers her middle finger in a rude gesture.

Then the High School Musical actress and her friend comically used their sweaters to cover their faces as they headed into their work out.

Leaving her long brown hair out and flowing, the star donned a cap with the word 'Faith' on it, a grey zip up sweater and the distinctive grey and white striped leggings.

While the unusual Lycra three-quarter pants were not good for blending in, they were great for showing off the 24-year-old's perfectly toned legs and shapely rear end.

No doubt Vanessa is very proud of her fabulous figure as the actress worked hard to get it, hitting the gym or Pilates class every day.

She told Self magazine she likes to combine cardio on machines with spin classes and Pilates.

She said to Self: 'My secret to flat abs is Pilates.

'I like sitting in the front row of cycling class. I feel like everybody behind me is looking forward, and that pushes me to do my best.

'I look at myself in the mirror and get this really ferocious, angry look on my face like I’m about to kill someone. It’s crazy.'

In her new film, the 24-year-old joins Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson to play friends who commit a robbery to fund their Spring Break.

The film sees Vanessa spend a fair share of her time in her bikini - so luckily she has put in the hours at the gym.

Spring Breakers - which also stars James Franco - is already getting rave reviews ahead of its release this week.

While technically the gritty independent flick was released last year at Cannes Film Festival, American moviegoers will get a chance to see Selena, Vanessa and Ashley turn into very bad girls on March 22.

She tends to cover her face when she doesn't wear make-up, but that's shame because she's very pretty even without make-up.

Horizontal stripes kind of accentuates her beefy legs. Check her out in "Spring Breakers" her legs are way too big for the rest of her body. Still a cutie, though.

She gained the weight for Gimme Shelter , the director of this film wanted her to keep it on. He made all the girls gain weight because he didn't want them to look like models on the beach. I'm sure she's happy to be back to her normal size.

Loud? White and shades of grey are now loud are they? What the writer really means is they're not capable of wearing anything as figure-hugging as these so they're obviously wrong for everyone. These fashion "writers" are a joke.
