She's already said she's going to have a 'case of tour blues' when Girls Aloud's Ten tour draws to a close.

But Cheryl Cole is already finding the impending end of the tour a difficult prospect to cope with.

The 29-year-old singer appeared to be somewhat overcome with emotion as she joined her bandmates on stage at Nottingham's Capital FM arena on Tuesday night.

Cheryl was seen looking teary-eyed as the girls sported long sequinned red dress for their rendition of I'll Stand By You and The Promise.

The brunette singer appeared to be struggling to control her emotions during the performance, ahead of the group's last gig in Liverpool on Wednesday night.

And a source close to the band said that Cheryl isn't the only member of the group getting emotional over the end of the tour.

The band, who found fame on Popstars: The Rivals a decade ago, have been delighting fans around the country on their tour.

As well as performing new material recorded for their anniversary, the five-piece also brought out many of their most famous hits, including Jump, Something Kinda Ooh and Love Machine.

And despite claims that the Ten tour will be the last time the group perform together, Kimberley Walsh recently insisted the girls have every intention of reuniting again in the future.

She said: 'Why would we stop doing tours or making records? It’s a joy to do. There’s no reason why we can’t keep going through our OAP years.'

''.....wasted her youth on a failed band'' well @Sheamus from Baltimore, atleast she did not waste her youth on unemployment benefits like you did. She is loaded and that's what it's all about.

They should do a surprise rooftop concert on Abbey Road. Girls Aloud are this generations Beatles. - Meath, Dublin, Ireland

Thank you - I now have coffee all over my screen. Funniest thing I have read in weeks. Remind us again what music they have written, and what instruments they all play? The Beatles were a band....BIG difference. And I doubt very much that people will still be talking about this group of women in 40 years time.
