She's come a long way since a video of her demonstrating 'How To Dougie' went viral.

But Vogue cover girl Kate Upton obviously hasn't let her new-found fame go to her head.

The beautiful blonde showed she's still just as much fun as she took to the stage at a promotional event on Wednesday night.

Despite the restrictive and sexy nature of her blue bodycon bandage dress, Kate wasn't put off from joining in with the entertainment.

After posing demurely on the red carpet in New York, she was soon slapping her behind in a demonstration of her much showcased dance moves.

Kate was seen wigging and arching her back as she danced along to rapper Flo Rida on stage in New York.

Kate’s body has been judged by the fashion industry and audiences as sometimes too curvy, but in this ensemble, her legs looked as lithe as any other supermodel’s.

It was Kate's second promotional event for Samsung that day.

In a press release to promote the events earlier in the week the company accidentally let it slip that Kate is to cover the June issue of Vogue US.

Hailed 'The New Girl' by US Vogue in October last year, the 20-year-old has been featured twice in the fashion glossy's inside pages after she shot to fame at the start of 2012.

The new girl: Kate is better known for her bikini modelling but she is clearly in demand for promotional events for the electronics company that day

At the time, she was dismissed as a girl with 'the kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy,' by Victoria's Secret.

But now, as she lands her first US Vogue cover, there is little doubt that the model is a bona fide member of the high fashion set.

Perhaps the celebration of Kate’s curvaceous figure as a cover model for the fashion masses suggests a shift in the modelling industry that’s more accepting of multiple body types, but only time will tell.

She is very 'warm' looking. She's not perfect but she oozes happiness and charm.

I like that she's not as snobbish and pouty as all the other "supermodels" shoved down our throats these days! I love that she seems to love to laugh..even at herself!
