She was worryingly thin last year before heading to rehab for stress and anxiety.

But nowadays, LeAnn Rimes is looking far healthier - and happier.

The 30-year-old singer broke into a huge smile as she strolled to her car in Los Angeles on Thursday flaunting her curvier frame in a floaty dress and sandals.

Her appearance was a far cry from how she looked last year when she caused alarm with her shockingly skinny frame.

The country music star couldn't stop grinning as she walked through the parking lot, carrying two bags that looked like takeaway food.

LeAnn wore a cream-coloured chiffon dress that sported red-patterned lining and lace at the bust and spaghetti straps, showing off her toned arms.

She added a gladiator touch with leather sandals that wrapped around her ankles, accessorising with long dangly earrings.

LeAnn upped the glamour factor with an over-sized gold bag sporting a chain as a strap slung over her shoulder.

She tied her blonde hair back in a simple ponytail, and added a rosy glow to her cheeks with peachy blusher.

On Thursday, LeAnn told her Twitter followers that she'd just had a spray-tan, and her skin certainly looked subtly sun-kissed.

The star has a lot to to be happy about after wowing audiences with her emotional performance at the O2 Arena in London earlier this week.

She also moved into her new mansion with husband Eddie Cibrian on Wednesday after scoring the house for a steal.

'Going home to a whole new house! Our first night in our new house is tonight....excited!,' the singer tweeted before leaving London.

Unfortunately her feud with her husband's ex Brandi Glanville was recently reignited when Brandi said the country singer needs to learn the boundary between being a mother and a step-mother when it comes to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star's sons, Mason, nine, and Jake, five.

The 40-year-old Drinking and Tweeting and Other Brandi Blunders author told BuzzFeed.com: 'Hopefully, they'll have a child of their own and she'll understand better what a proper boundary is for a stepmother and a mother.'

LeAnn recently revealed that she and Eddie hope to have children of their own.

She previously said: 'We've talked about having kids of our own. I've always admired working moms because they have it tough. I already have two children around half the time so we have our hands full but we talk about it often so we'll see what happens. We would love to, but it's all about the right timing.'

why is everyone so full of hate? - Stevie14 , EK, 23/3/2013 01:31 COMPLETELY AGREE. I don't get the hate either. Coming here actually makes me suspicious of my fellow "humans" on a regular basis. You get a real sense of their nasty underbelly, their ugly insides. And DM insists on posting lame unnecessary articles about her going to the grocery store or walking anywhere just to incite more hate. It's like they want their masses to scream jump. And the masses here will never let you down for that. Want to feel bad about modern life and society at large, here's all the evidence you need. Just so you know, Stevie, there are a few of us left in the world with hearts still beating and full of love and good will for our fellow man, woman, dog, cat whatever. Thanks for your post. one can't help coming to the conclusion that it wasn't looks that attracted the very attractive Eddie C! With all of her money Leann could really improve her looks, a rhinoplasty and an eyelid fold is all she really needs. No matter how great her body looks, you still have to look at that face!
