Everyone seems to have an opinion about reality star Honey Boo Boo.
And while many celebrities may have looked down their noses at the seven-year-old and her Georgia-based family, the youngster is still making friends in high places.
Honey Boo Boo – whose real name is Alana Thompson – bumped into celebrity fan La Toya Jackson recently, who couldn’t help but rave about her love of the child.

While working in Chicago, Illinois the 56-year-old posted a picture online of her pleasant meeting with the young beauty pageant participator.
She tweeted a snap of them, joined by Alana’s parent Mama June Shannon, with the message: ‘Me and #Honeybooboo at the #upfronts! She is Simply Adorable!!! And her mother June, loving them!’
In the picture La Toya gazes adoringly into the youngster’s face while Honey Boo Boo is unsurprisingly focused on looking her best for the camera.
Her mother – who opted to wear a floral print like her daughter – stands in the background waving but keeping a watchful eye over her little one as she hobnobbed with the star.

Honey Boo Boo wasn’t the only famous face she bumped into while on her ventures.
She enjoyed some time with life coach and author Iyanla Vanzant who is the host of Iyanla, Fix My Life and a frequently featured guest teacher of Oprah's Lifeclass on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
She tweeted: ‘Met @IyanlaVanzant what a sweet & smart lady. Can't wait to see her premiere episode on @OWNTV with @DMX interestN!’
