Since bursting onto the scene she's challenged the norm in regards to what is expected of models.

And sending the notion that models don't eat into oblivion, Cara Delevingne was seen getting her teeth into a giant pretzel on Thursday.

Taking to the streets of New York City as she got another day of shooting for her DKNY campaign underway, the 20-year-old was seen nibbling away on the baked good.

Cara beamed as she made her way over to a stand to select a salty treat while dressed in her first outfit for the day.

As Delevingne devoured the pretzel she pulled array of her famous funny faces before returning to her model composure and posing for the photographer.

During each break, the energetic stunner was seen jumping for joy and clicking her heels as she tried to take her mind off the chilly weather.

Taking to her Twitter account to let her followers know how her day was going, she wrote: 'So cold in Times square today!'

Hiding her eyes behind a pair of feline styled shades, the British beauty wore her straight hair down in a centre parting as she donned a brown and black patterned ensemble.

A pair of bright blue chunky trainers, opaque tights and a leather handbag completed Cara's look.

Moving to Time Square for her next set-up, Cara ditched the carbs as she transformed into a chic tomboy head turner.

Sporting a black beanie, Delevingne swamped her svelte frame with a oversized black and white striped jumper which topped a flowing sheer shirt.

Slipping into a pair of skintight leather leggings, the Londoner strutted along in heeled ankle boots.

For her final ensemble, Cara vamped it up as she became a high fashion goth in a floating cool black coloured maxi dress.

The stylist on set teamed the gown with a couple different coats as Delevingne posed alongside a graffiti covered lamppost.

Making the most of her time in the Big Apple, Cara made sure to stop a get a few pictures with some main attractions in the bustling area and even managed to get a snap with some police officers.

Much to the envy of most of other Victoria's Secret models, Cara recently admitted she prepared for the lingerie brand's annual fashion show last year by chowing down on McDonald's and pizzas.

The fashionista also admitted she didn't even have time to work out ahead of the show because of her jet-setting lifestyle.

She told Beauty High: 'I need to eat a lot otherwise I feel faint. I get in the worst moods if I don’t eat.'

Both Cara and her best pal Rita Ora have confessed to a love of fast food, in particular McDonalds.
Cara recently said: 'First thing I do when I get to America... get a Mcdonalds.'

While Rita told Stylist magazine: 'I usually get Chinese food or McDonald's. I always get a Big Mac; you have to, why do people get all those little decorations like chicken nuggets?

'The Big Mac is the classic. It's what makes McDonald's McDonald's. So if you're not going all the way, don't go there at all.'
