Hollywood's hottest new couple? Ryan Phillippe and Ashley Greene leave LA club together in the early hours

If the rumours are true, this could be the birth of the newest and hottest power couple in Hollywood.

Ryan Phillippe and Ashley Greene were spotted leaving the Vignette Lounge together on Wednesday and the brunette was at pains to hide her face from onlookers.

Despite leaving separately to avoid being pictured together, Ryan, 38, and Ashley, 26, climbed into the same car and whizzed off.

Ashley wanted to avoid getting snapped at all cost and even shoved her swing black bag in front of her.

According to onlookers the pair arrived together and couldn't be parted all evening.

Earlier that day the father-of-three dined out with a friend but he looked more than comfortable with young actress Ashley.

Cruel Intentions star Phillipe, who has two children with his ex-wife Reese Witherspoon and a daughter with model Alexis Knapp, was keeping quiet about his possible new romance.

Phillipe has previously dated college student Paulina Slagter, 21, and was romantically linked to Amanda Seyfried in 2011.

He famously married actress Reese Witherspoon's after meeting her at her 21st birthday party.

She said: 'I think you're my birthday present.'

Phillippe and Witherspoon married on June 5, 1999, in a small ceremony at Old Wide Awake and divorced in 2007 - with the Sweet Home Alabama star citing irreconcilable differences.

Brunette Ashley's last relationship was with singer-songwriter Reeve Carney, they split five months ago after ten months together.

The young actress recently said she was wary of dating men who just want to be seen with her because she is famous.

She told GQ: 'When I’m dating a guy and he says, "I don’t want press", and then says, "Let’s go to (trendy restaurant) Katana for dinner" - I’m like, "Really? You don’t want to just walk down the street to some dive? You don’t want to get photographed but you want to go to a place where you know there’s paparazzi?"'

Ryan Phillippe smokes and the fire errupted in the sofa. They may very well be "Hollywood's Hottest Couple" but if he is responsible then she's unlikely to overlook her dog's death and the resulting destructive to her home. Doomed, no man is worth that yet alone one who seems to never fully commit to anyone.
