Making up for lost time! Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are spotted together yet again as they join Katy Perry at a birthday dinner

They proved they are very much still an item after being photographed together outside a Los Angeles karaoke bar on Tuesday night, despite rumours they had split up.

And it seems Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are making up for lost time after being apart for 64 days while the British actor was filming in Australia.

The Twilight couple were photographed for the second time at a restaurant with Katy Perry as they celebrated her assistant's birthday on Wednesday night.

In a blurry six second video posted on YouTube, the happy couple are seen singing Happy Birthday to Tamra Natisin, also a friend of Stewart's.

At one point, Stewart can clearly be seen standing on a chair next to Pattinson, and appeared to be taking a photograph of him with her cell phone.

Perry, who recently split from boyfriend John Mayer after seven months, seemed in good spirits, presenting a cake with candles to the birthday girl.

Pattinson recently returned to Los Angeles from Australia after wrapping filming on his movie The Rover, and it seems he headed straight back into his girlfriend’s arms.

Stewart, 22, did not visit her other half once during his nine weeks Down Under for the movie, which is described as a ‘near-future Western’.

Their enforced absence and lack of contact fuelled rumours that they had split for a second time.

The initial breakup came last summer after Kristen was photographed with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

The famous couple were first spotted together on Tuesday when a fan photographed them leaving an L.A. karaoke bar.

After posting the photo on her Twitter and Instagram pages, the fan was inundated with messages from Twihards asking her for more information.

‘I just ran into them at a karaoke bar by my house… mellow night,’ she tweeted. ‘They were just there hanging out with a few friends.’

The eyewitness added that they were ‘super nice… just normal people at a bar’ and posted that Robert and Kristen spent their evening ‘minding their own business hanging out in a booth with friends’.

It always makes me laugh when people say "Y'all just hate Kristen cos ye are so jealous!". Nope, you're wrong there! I don't like Kristen because she is a bad actress, seriously over-rated, and has a crappy attitude. End of! Pull the other one for once!
