They both celebrate their birthdays on Sunday.

And Alyson Hannigan took her mini-me daughter Satyana for a spot of pre-birthday shopping in Los Angeles Friday.

The redheaded funnywoman, who's turning 39, dressed comfortably in purple skinny jeans, a marbled jumper, and grey fur-lined Uggs.

Little Satyana, who's turning four, skipped along in her star-spangled hoodie, pink patterened leggings, and Mary Jane sneakers.

The How I Met Your Mother star clutched the expressive little girl's hand as they window shopped, eventually ending up at a coffee shop.

Not seen Friday was Alyson's 47-year-old husband Alexis Denisof and their 10-month-old baby daughter Keeva.

The acting couple, who met on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary last October.

The Denisof-Hannigan family had a scare last month when a man - recently released from a mental hospital - began to make threats online against Alyson and her family.

According to TMZ, on March 6, the judge granted a restraining order requiring John Hobbs to stay 100 yards away from Hannigan for the next three years.

Meanwhile, Alyson's long-running sitcom will have a ninth and final season on CBS this year.

The American Pie actress, who often brings her girls with her on the set of HIMYM, was relieved that Satyana has accepted the role of big sister so well.

'The other day [Satyana] was hugging [Keeva] so hard I was like, "I think her head might pop off." I don’t want to be like, "Ooh!" because I don’t want her to have a complex about her sister,' the American Pie star told People magazine last year.

'But I’m like, "Oh you know, I don’t know if she can really breathe right now! That might just be a little too hard," and Keeva’s just as happy as [can be]. It’s so great.'

The mother-of-two continued: 'My whole world changed for the better as soon as I became a mom. It’s not only the hardest, but absolutely the most rewarding job ever.'

Denisof will next be seen as Benedick in Joss Whedon's modern adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing, due out June 21.

I love that her kids dress like kids. I wore outfits just like this when I was younger. I loved comfortable and bright clothes, that were horribly mismatched. My parents gave me the freedom to wear what I wanted, and I think it's awesome that Alyson gives her kids the same freedom. I only wish as an adult I'd stop caring about looking halfway decent! I miss the days of thoughtlessly throwing anything on...

She really is a cute little girl. The Buffy cast sure ended up with beautiful children. And the cast members themselves don't look a day older than they did when the series ended.
