Pregnant women the world over are regularly described as blooming by their friends and family.

And over the weekend, mother-to-be Lara Stone really was blooming as she showcased her large bump in rose-print dress.

The Dutch model looked ready to pop in her skin-tight Christopher Kane jersey dress as she arrived at Patrick Cox's 50th birthday party with husband David Walliams.

Showing off her growing baby bump, the 29-year-old was hard to miss in her colourful dress as the couple arrived at the Hotel Cafe Royal

Wearing her blonde her back in ponytail, Stone looked radiant as she headed inside the Canadian–British fashion designer's soiree.

Giving up her heels, the Dutch beauty, who is set to welcome her first child for husband David into the world soon, finished her look with black suede pumps and tights.

Joined by her better half, David put a protective arm around Lara as her guided her inside the hotel.

Also at the bash was Elizabeth Hurley, 47, who made her way to the party with her fiancé Shane Warne, 43, and strutted along in a pair of gold strapped heeled sandals.

Clutching her golden coat, Liz appeared to be wearing a blue dress which she ensured Warne matched his tie to as he donned a blue suit.

Looking forward to Cox's party, Shane tweeted: 'Have a wedding celebration & a 50th birthday party tonight !!! Can feel a hangover coming on. Should be fun, have a great weekend!'

Hurley's ex-husband Arun Nayar was also at the swanky birthday which he attended with his model girlfriend Kim Johnson.

Nayar cut a dapper figure in a navy suit teamed with a white shirt as Johnson battled the cold weather with a black collared jacket.

Other guests at the party included Tamara Beckwith, Jemima Khan and David Furnish and they were all treated to Grey Goose cocktails such as the famous Le Fizz.

As the host with the most Patrick, who is currently designing for Geox, drew attention to himself in a yellow blazer and zebra print shirt.

I love the way David Walliams has his arm around Lara. If some men would only realize how women feel when they do that. It makes a woman feel special and appreciated. They don't call it being a gentleman for nothing. Congrads to David and Lara on their baby.
