As Mischa emerged from her meal on Canon Drive to retrive her vehicle from the valet, she put her brunette locks back in a ponytail.

The Sixth Sense star was last seen on Tuesday vamping it up in a black frock at the premiere of her latest flick alongside Tara Reid and Devon Sawa.

In the film, Barton plays a high-school guidance counselor trying to solve the murder of a bullied high schooler who was killed in a car accident.

Mischa said she really loved working with the late Michael Clarke Duncan, who plays the school’s principal.

'He was such a gentle guy and such a sweet guy,' she told Entertainment Weekly.

'Every time he was on set, we had good laughs and good vibes. It’s tragic. He was just such a nice guy. Nobody could say anything negative about Michael. We were so lucky to have him.'

'After The OC and after The Beautiful Life, I felt the need to say "No" for a second and just do film,' said Mischa.

'But if the right role comes along now in television, absolutely. It’s not where I started. I started in theater and in film so I went back to the roots.

'And there’s a good chance I’ll be doing some off Broadway this year in New York. I don’t really limit myself.'

Why are comments positive about Mischa when she has obviously put on weight....be honest she doesn't look as good as before....she used to be gorgeous.

Wow! She's eating a salad! And how is this news?

She looks great and healthy. Maybe praise a healthy lifestyle rather than criticize past weight gains and losses.

I think it's unfair to call her a "yo-yo" dieter. First of all, she was a very skinny teenager in the OC and it's natural to gain a bit as you get older. It's also normal for actors to fluctuate between weights as they're doing different roles. Leave her alone.

They should do an OC sequel with everyone grown up.

Wolfing down a salad? Really, DM? Bully. She looks like a lady eating a salad.

What an awful article!!! She's just eating a salad not wolfing it down. Trying to make it seem like living on salad is the key to a healthy diet, whoever wrote this utter rubbish needs a new vocation.

"Wolfs down salad." Really looks to me as if she's just having lunch.

She looks like a different person! - Amy , London............................Looks a much happier person as well, she's lost that 'haunted' look in her eyes. She has always seemed to me to have a fragile sort of personality, hard to explain, but the sort of person 'who might do something silly'. Anyway, she is looking miles better now and I hope she finds long-term happiness and success from now on.
