But Julianne Hough showed him exactly what he's missing on a night out with her girlfriends.

The 24-year-old flaunted her incredible legs in a leather miniskirt and boots as she left the Chateau Marmont on Friday night in West Hollywood.

The Safe Haven star showed off her toned dancer's legs in the skimpy black skirt as she exited the famed celebrity hotspot.

Julianne wore a midnight blue sweater with black polka dots, which perfectly complemented her ash blonde hair.

She added a chic touch with black ankle boots and a dainty black handbag with a chain as a strap.

The former Dancing With The Stars professional had her shoulder-length hair short and straight, and added peachy blusher to add glow to her complexion.

Julianne was seen leaving the hotel with a girlfriend, who had her hand protectively on her famous friend's back.

The actress was then spotted flashing a smile as she sat in her car, waiting to leave.

The ladies night out comes just a week after Julianne and Ryan decided to take a break from their three-year relationship.

The couple have allegedly decided to call it quits due to their busy work schedules getting in the way of their relationship.

The pair began dating in April 2010 but are now living apart after deciding to take a break, sources told People.

But the insiders claim that the actress and her TV mogul former flame had an amicable split and will remain friends.

Julianne and Ryan are also apparently keeping in regular contact with each other and they were last spotted together on Sunday.

Safe Haven star Julianne has previously spoken about the strain their hectic showbiz careers have had on their relationship.

'It's a hard thing to do, especially when you're so caught up in your work and bettering yourself,' she recently told PARADE.

'I think at the end of the day you have to find a balance with what's really important.'

What he's missing? If he was enjoying it then he wouldn't be her ex. I think she looks adorable. I wish I had her nose. It's a strange body part to admire but when you don't really like yours it is something you notice.
