Since his wife revealed she was expecting her first child she's been the centre of attention.

And it seems Josh Duhamel is keen to get in on the action.

The 40-year-old sported a fake bump as he and wife Fergie donned matching leotards for a skit at the Kid's Choice Awards on Saturday night.

Dressed in a skin-tight light pink mini dress, the 40-year-old actor sported a faux baby bump to shake things up, pumping his fists in the air and twisting his hips.

The Hollywood hunk started singing an original song, giving a personal shout-out to his wife.

'I gotta move, I gotta hurry, I gotta make time for Fergie.

'Go Fergie! Go Fergie!'

Suddenly, the Black Eyed Peas singer appeared, catching her husband off guard, donning pretty much the same form-fitted frock as her husband, but a more conservative version.

'I wore this for you,' Josh said as he tried to conceal the awkward moment.

Reacting to her silly husband, Fergie jokingly rolled her eyes.

Pushing her beau aside, the superstar decided to take charge of the situation and show off her own routine.

And that wasn't Fergie's only shining moment of the awards programme.

The singer announced her pregnancy with husband Josh Duhamel via Twitter on February 18, but Saturday’s appearance at Nickelodeon’s 26th Annual Kids Choice Awards marked the baby bump’s official red carpet debut.

She caught the eyes of many attendees in an aquatic long-sleeves dress that featured vibrant shades of yellow, blue and green, as well as little fishies swimming about.

In a recent appearance on Good Morning America, Fergie, also known as Stacy Ferguson, said:  'I know that my husband told everybody what I said. My quote when we found out - "This s*** just got real.'"

'But it's true, when that moment occurs to you, there's going to be a human being growing inside of you ... it's reality. It's amazing, we're thrilled,' she added.

And her excitement was apparent on Saturday, as she radiated  throughout the event.

Her husband Josh has been vocal about his enthusiasm for their baby as well.

‘Now I get to relive my youth through my child and see my child live all that,' he gushed in an interview with The Associated Press.

The Kids’ Choice Awards was only one indication that the two are most ready for kids, as they celebrated adolescence.
