Still going strong? Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson seem in deep conversation as they take intimate nighttime stroll together

They've just been reunited after spending more than two months apart, so it's no surprise that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have a lot to talk about.

The Twilight co-stars and on/off couple were spotted taking a romantic nighttime stroll through the streets of Los Feliz in LA on Friday, looking like they were in deep conversation.

Fighting off the split rumours, the pair proved that they were working on their relationship as they wandered around together, although neither managed to crack a smile.

And they're obviously trying to spend as much time as possible with each other before getting back to work, showing that they're back on track.

The young couple looked as relaxed with each other as ever, dressed down for the late night outing as they picked up some snacks at at corner shop.

As dressed down as usual, Kristen wore a pair of skintight jeans and a grey hoodie, with her dark hair scraped back.

Robert also looked a little grungy, wearing a white T-shirt, checked jacket and jeans as he stuck close to his girlfriend.

Reports suggested that the couple had put their highly-publicised relationship on hiatus while British star Robert was filming The Rover down under.

But as soon as he wrapped, the star jetted straight back to LA to spend time with Kristen, and the pair have clearly been inseparable ever since.

The 22-year-old actress did not visit her other half in Australia during filming, sparking speculation of another split, but the time apart obviously did them good.

They were snapped going to a karaoke bar together last Tuesday and the next night they joined Katy Perry at an LA restaurant to celebrate her assistant's birthday.

Obviously keen for people to know that they're still an item, the former co-stars posed for a picture with a fan on the street.

The couple initially split last summer after Kristen was photographed in a romantic clinch with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

And while she has reconciled with Robert, Rupert's wife Liberty Ross had recently filed for divorce from her husband.

And while R Patz was working hard in Oz, Kristen has reportedly been spending a lot of her time with her other Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner, prompting yet more speculation.

'It seems he was hurt to see her with Taylor, given she wasn't close to him when they filmed Twilight,' an insider told Grazia.

'Rob is still uneasy about getting back with Kristen. While the Taylor situation did get to him, it seems he wants friendship - not to rekindle their relationship. It's all up in the air,' they added.

Up in the air? The pair are reportedly still trying to work through their issues, but have been spending a lot of time together

I agree with another poster, she never looked happier than when she was fooling around with Rupert Sanders in those pictures. Sad but true. Says something about her if you ask me.

Carl Los Angeles ... Says it all with his stalkarazi comment! I have seen vids of Rob clearly over stalked by the paps constantly shouting his name over and over again. Who wouldn't get sick of that? Someone during the snap happy shots has over stepped the mark which has no bearing on the couples relationship status whatsoever! Love Rob & Kris in all their work.

Gee DM, how many times have you printed that they've broken up? And for everyone commenting on her clothes, she's out for the day, she isn't on the red carpet. People who live in LA purposely dress down, no one has to prove a thing. And with the relaxed California vibe, this is how we dress here, get over it.

As for these pictures, she does look a little subdued and maybe upset but that could be about absolutely anything, there could be an illness in the family that they were talking about. It wouldn't have been appropriate to start kissing and being all over each other if discussing something sensitive. I have to say I don't understand the fascination of their off screen relationship because life isn't how it is portrayed in films; they are just regular people and if either of them are happier been apart then surely this is for the best. Their fandom should really only be attached to their films, interviews etc..
