Me and my girl: David Beckham and daughter Harper co-ordinate in quilted jackets and matching trainers

He spent most of last week globetrotting in Germany and China.

So after arriving back home in London this week, David Beckham couldn't wait to have some quality time with his children.

With sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz at school, the Paris St Germain footballer took charge of daughter Harper for the day.

The father-of-four, 37, was spotted taking his little girl for a walk near their West London home on Wednesday morning.

With the temperatures still freezing, the 20-month-old was wrapped up warm in blue leggings, a quilted red hooded jacket and matching velcro trainers.

Harper was co-ordinated with her dad, who wore a pair of blue jeans, quilted gilet and red and blue trainers.

Wearing a grey beanie hat, there was no sign of jetlag on David's face, despite his long-haul flight from China earlier this week.

The athlete spent most of last week travelling around the Asian nation as part of his role as China's ambassador of football.

He said last week: 'I want people to realise this is not a short-term project.

'It is something that we are very passionate about changing the mentality of the league and bringing youngsters through and making this league as popular as some of the big leagues in the world.

'I've always been a fan of Chinese football because I think the players are very talented and they are very passionate.

'When you see the excitement throughout this country when the team has done well you see how important it is to people. I am excited to make a difference.'

Meanwhile, Victoria has been busying launching her first e-commerce website for her Victoria Beckhan fashion line.

Following the launch, Victoria was spotted with Harper in Notting Hill and going on the school run to pick up the latter's big brothers.

Although Harper was wrapped up warm in a cream coat, Victoria braved the 0C temperatures in a short sleeved jumper.

As both parents are famous and millionaires it amazes me they don't ask for their childrens faces to be blurred and protect them until they're older. They seem to brandish this latest child far more than the boys. It's really weird.

Harper is very very cute, as all children of her age. It seems she prefers walking and exploring the world herself to being carried. However, I envy Beckhams that Harper lets them to carry her so much at all, our children were too impatient or too curious to let us carry them a minute or even more. Sometimes I wish our children were also so calm.
