Kristin Chenoweth admitted she gets some help in the hair department.

And during Friday's segment of The Talk the chatty star decided to lighten up the mood by twirling her weaves in the air.

The hilarious two minutes of hair-spinning fun began when Kristin started talking to her co-hosts about the fad of using real hair extensions to pump up the volume.

Kristin, 44, had them all laughing on the CBS weekday show - Sara Gilbert and Sheryl Underwood to her right and guest host Donny Osmond and regular co-hosts Aisha Tyler and Julie Chen on her left.

'White girls are just getting on the hair train, it is the best,' Kristin began.

'For those of you who don't know, it's not mine,' she said while giving her hair a tug. 'It's from someone named Svetlana from Russia.

'We all have pieces,' Kristin continued, telling the former Roseanne star, 'Sara, you're natural. I love your hair.

'This would be my ponytail,' the Broadway star-turned-television personality joked while pulling up a thin strand.

''I have such bad hair. I have a couple pieces in today. You should know this takes a village... long hair, short hair.'

Then Julie broke in: 'Yellow girls are also getting on this bandwagon at the end of the show.'

When Julie removed her hair clips and twirled them in the air high above her head, Kristin copied her.

Kristin and Julie did a high five while the audience laughed and applauded.

Donny grabbed his suavely coiffed dark hair and gave it a pull, but his is real.

Then Aisha removed her lengthy 'pieces' and gave them a twirl.

Everyone looked at Sheryl Underwood, who was emphatically shaking her head 'No.'

'Do it!' Julie shouted.

Finally they convinced Sheryl to pull off her wig, revealing a mat of tiny greying braids underneath, which earned her a big kiss from Donny.

I don't understand how they can wear them every day... I was playing around with my friends extensions, and about an hour after I put them in,I had a raging headache!

It just goes to show how fake all these TV people are. You have to feel a bit sorry for them really, they've sold their souls to the media and don't realise that we watch mostly to see how awful they look.

It's disturbing how you could probably only name a handful of people in Hollywood who are not wearing somebody else's hair. It's so much rarer to see a celebrity not wearing them.

I like this show so much better than The View. They are so funny and natural and you're not inundated with their personal political views! Sheryl has to be one of the funniest people around.

All that glisters is not gold. Welcome to the 21st century - hair extensions (urgh) and women's obsession with long 'youthful' hair and silicon breasts - someone give Joan Bakewell a call, her battle call for feminism all those years ago 'worked'.

This was awesome...it literally takes an eastern village to make these western women look good... it's a disturbing trend especially since most of the hair is donated as part of a religious sacrifice, and then sold for profit by the sociopaths who collected it.
