[Spoiler warning: details about the ending of "Bioshock Infinite" will be lightly discussed in the following review.]
"Bioshock Infinite" is certainly the most literate game of this generation (or really, that I've had the chance to play), blending pop culture, turn of the 20th century history, and science fiction together into a mash of a competent first-person shooter. But as well-sourced the Irrational Games' Creative Director Ken Levine's vision is, and as clever as its twists are, this journey to the floating city of Columbia suffers the same big budget malady of interesting worlds undercut by the thin characters that populate them.

[Update: I'm wondering if this "Farcry Blood Dragon" interview might hint that "The Abyss" and "Terminator" actor Michael Biehn will be voicing the protagonist on this for now, purely hypothetical expansion.]
The problem with the ever-escalating battle for April Fools superiority--particularly in the tech sector--is that some exciting ideas poke through and fans are left wanting some gadget or game remake/de-make that will never be.
And ultimately, I hope Ubiosft hasn't allowed themselves to be caught up in St. Liar's Day, and that the continued teases for what appear to be a VHS-era expansion for "Far Cry 3" are teasing an actual thing that we'll be able to play in the near future--even more so based on the period-perfect title crawl in this trailer Kotaku spotted this morning.
