I’ve been trying to switch my current account from Yorkshire Bank to Lloyds since my local branch closed in November. It’s now March and my £130.08 balance has still not been transferred across. What’s going on?

Hold up: B.B from Stevenage experienced a long wait for the transfer of money

Yorkshire Bank says the account remained open because there was an issue matching the signature on the application to close the account with the one on file. After reviewing its records, it has now determined the signatures do in fact match and has moved your money across. You should receive a letter apologising for the delay and £25 in compensation.
