Jessica Alba slips back in her Into The Blue bikini (eight years and two children later) and looks better than ever in St Barts

She became famous for her incredible bikini body in the 2005 underwater action movie Into The Blue.

And eight years - and two children - later, Jessica Alba has slipped back into a similar sky blue swimsuit while on holiday in St. Barts, in the French West Indies.

She proved that she still has the same amazing figure, despite giving birth to two kids in the interim.

The 31-year-old flaunted her perfectly toned body as she took a dip in the warm Caribbean ocean on Thursday with her husband Cash Warren.

The Machete Kills star looked flawless in the sporty two-piece, which consisted of orange bottoms and a light blue bikini top with orange straps.

She appeared to be having a ball as she laughed while splashing around in the sea.

At one point she was seen standing in the thigh-level water, squeezing out her long wet hair.

The actress then opted for a spot of sunbathing as she reclined on a jetty, stretching out her long toned legs.

She sat up cross-legged at one point, soaking up the sun while showing off her enviably toned tummy.

After having two children Jessica's incredible body has not been an easy achievement. The actress followed a strict diet and fitness regime.

She once said: 'Working out every day for even just 45 minutes is good for my mental state.

'Getting dressed and actually doing it is the worst. It's hard to get motivated.'

'In the gym, I have like five things to distract me: TV, iPod, magazines. Working partners are good, too, so you can chat and not just drown in your own misery. Sorry, does that sound bad? I just hate working out.'

After giving birth to her first child she then also stuck to a strict meal-plan which was delivered to her house.

'I have a hard time with portion control, so I have 1,200 calorie meals delivered. But I also work out, so basically I’m starving—it sucks. I drink a lot of water.'

After her fun in the water, she was seen walking out the surf with Cash, who looked rather pleased to be stood beside his beautiful wife.

Surrounded by family and friends Jessica was also joined by socialite and fellow yummy mummy Nicole Richie.

The two women kept themselves entertained by sharing jokes and chatting while working on their tans.

The girls were part of a large group who seemed to be enjoying relaxing around on the beach.

With the heat proving too much Jessica and Nicole took a stroll along the bay with the water splashing around their ankles.

Jessica is currently enjoying a well-deserved vacation with a group of close friends at the popular holiday destination.

She was snapped the previous day in a colourful kaftan as she stood with her feet in the surf chatting with her friends.

Jessica was then seen indulging in some retail therapy at one of the local clothing stores.The actress' new book The Honest Life recently hit no. three on the New York Times Bestseller list.

The book was inspired by the beauty’s desire to create a safe, healthy environment for her family.

The tome provides a behind-the-scenes look at Jessica's diet and lifestyle, and was inspired her desire to create a safe, healthy environment for her family.

In 2012, she paired with entrepreneur Brian Lee and environmental activist Christopher Gavigan to launch The Honest Company, where parents can buy products that are environmentally friendly and safe to use on their kids.

I like her because she does not 'court' publicity the way other celebs do who then in turn complain when they are constantly papped. And i find her 'real' too. Admitting yes you gotta work out 5 days a week and working out is the worst is at least her being honest. Instead of 'oh i just ate healthily throughout my pregnancy etc etc' lies and more lies, nip tuck, personal trianers nannies etc
