Gowrie Primary School Parents and Citizens Association

The P&C Association is automatically open to all parents and carers of Gowrie Primary children. Membership is also open to interested community members in the Gowrie area. The P&C provides an important forum to discuss and debate school issues, connect socially and organise fun raising activities

Being involved in the P&C has several advantages:

• Understanding more about what happens at school.
• Meeting the parents of your children’s friends.
• Demonstrating a positive attitude to schooling for your child.
• Getting to know teachers and staff.

The P&C has the following elected positions: President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. There are also two subcommittees that manage operations associated with the school canteen and uniform supplies. The P&C meets monthly during school term on the same evening as the School Board. New members are always welcome at the meeting and to help with P&C activities.
