Kelly Clarkson's troubled summer tour is back on its feet. After scrapping the first version of the intended arena run due to poor ticket sales, Clarkson will instead hit theatres in North America, beginning Oct. 10 in Verona, N.Y., to be followed by an Oct. 14-16 stand at New York's Beacon Theatre. Dates are set through Dec. 3 in Nashville.

The trek comes in support of her recent RCA album, "My December," which debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200. Fans who held tickets for the scrapped dates are eligible for a special Ticketmaster code for the new shows; details are available on Clarkson's Web site.

Clarkson is also up for the Country Music Association's musical event of the year for her collaboration with Reba McEntire on "Because of You"; the awards will be handed out Nov. 7 in Nashville.
