Getting fruity! Pixie Geldof sports cherry-print swimsuit as she parties at Coachella

With the weather in London only just starting to warm up, Pixie Geldof looked in her element as she lapped up the sunshine in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The 22-year-old star sported a retro cherry-print swimsuit as she partied at the NYLON x BOSS ORANGE event at Escape House, held at Lake La Quinta Inn, on Saturday.

Pixie teamed her ruched one-piece with a pair of cat-eye House Of Holland sunglasses and a beaming smile as she dangled her legs over the pool and enjoyed an ice cold drink.

Later, Pixie covered up in a rust-coloured long-sleeved T-shirt dress, with sky-high tan wedges.

On Sunday, Pixie was joined by fellow Brit Nick Grimshaw, and the pair wore matching denim shorts as they enjoyed the music on offer at the star-studded festival.

The pair, who touched down on American soil a couple of days ago, were spotted in their similar outfits enjoying the festival on Sunday evening.

Pixie showed she’s embracing a more relaxed festival style than some of the American celebrities, as she opted for a simple white T-shirt and denim shorts.

Completing her look she wore a pair of black Converse trainers and carried a sensible leopard print bag across her chest.

Looking fresh-faced and pretty, Pixie forwent any make-up, while her short brown crop looked relatively un-styled.

Nick meanwhile looked remarkably similar to her in an almost as short pair of cut-off denim shorts, with a pale grey T-shirt.

The 28-year-old also wore trainers and swung his bright pink jumper around his neck.

The London-based friends were seen sipping on some drinks and sharing some laughs before heading off to watch some bands.

And it seems the evening was a success, as on Sunday evening Nick tweeted: ‘Fun night! Apologies to the following people: Drew Elliott, the staff at McDonalds Palm Springs, swimming pool security guards, Katy Perry.’

Earlier in the day the pair hung out with Rita Ora and went to visit Frank Sinatra’s house with her.

While it looked like Rita may have been there for work, Nick and Pixie were just there for fun and Nick even shared a snap of himself lying mock seductively on the late musician’s bed.

Rita has already been spotted a number of times at the festival and on Sunday she was seen getting a lift around the infamous event by two male friends.

The fashion loving star has also already showcased a number of her festival fashions, her most recent being a low slung white printed skirt and a white T-shirt rolled up.

Another Brit! Alexa Chung was seen at one of the parties for the festival and she has also been hanging out with Nick and Pixie

She finished off her look with a bright pink bikini underneath with plenty of jewellery and a backwards baseball cap on her head.

The group are also joined by fellow Brit Alexa Chung for their festival jaunt, who is a regular member of their gang when she is in the UK.

Instead of following the trend of wearing weird and wonderful clothes during the music event though she has kept to her usual style.

On Saturday she was spotted in a black vintage-inspired dress with pink retro sunglasses.

Meanwhile British rugby player Thom Evans, who dated Kelly Brook up until very recently, chose the festival as his opportunity to confirm his relationship with 90210 star Jessica Lowndes.

The couple shared a number of pictures of themselves at Coachella on Friday which showed they had fallen for each other.

So far at the festival music lovers have been treated to the likes of Biffy Clyro, Diplo, Major Lazer, Hot Chip, Phoenix and Janelle Monae.

The Stone Roses, Blur and Red Hot Chilli Peppers are among acts headlining at the popular annual event which closes Sunday April 21.

Year after year many celebrities flock to the gathering – which is repeated over two weekends - and often frequent the pre-parties and after-parties thrown by sponsoring brands.

Tickets to the first weekend sold out within 15 minutes of them going on sale.
