Last time he was in Britain shooting his hit period show Mr. Selfridge, Jeremy Piven was rumoured to be getting close with pop star Alexandra Burke.

But fast forward a couple of months now the Entourage star is back in London it appears he's moved on from the close friendship.

Piven was spotted walking around Notting Hill on Wednesday with a mystery brunette as he unwound in the British capital.

Jeremy, 47, looked content and comfortable as he enjoyed the company of his female companion.

Piven first of all enjoyed a leisurely drink as he sat outside Daylesford Organic Market soaking up the atmosphere.

Jeremy was seen puffing away on a large cigar as he was lost in writing some notes down while sipping on a cup of coffee.

The mystery woman then joined him and they were seen strolling off together looking happy and relaxed.

The Hollywood star dressed fairly smart for the outing as he stepped out in a pair of trousers with brown shoes.

He completed his look with a co-ordinating brown jacket and black T-shirt underneath while he wore specs on his face.

His lady friend also went for a smilar smart casual ensemble in skinny jeans and suede brown boots which perfectly matched Piven's.

She kept warm in a light pink cardigan as she carried her bags over both arms.

And whatever she had to say obviously interested Jeremy who smiled and giggled as they stopped and spoke to each other.

It's possible the actor could be back in Britain ready to start filming on the second series of Mr. Selfridge after it was recommissioned following its successful reception.

But he already seems acquainted with the city and enjoyed himself during his last trip over in January.

During his stay he befriended former X Factor star Alexandra, who was spotted sneaking into a London hotel in the early hours of the morning to spend time with him in January.

Hollywood star Jeremy, who is friends with David Beckham, became a household name after playing Ari Gold in Entourage.

He scooped three Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe for playing the ruthless Hollywood player.

The Malibu-based actor's last romance with US socialite Erica Lancellotti ended last year after she spoke about their relationship.

Jeremy recently hit the small screen in the UK playing entrepreneur Harry Selfridge in Mr Selfridge, which has been dubbed 'Downton Abbey with tills'.

And producers were obviously impressed with its reception as it's now die back for a second series.
