Welcome to Natural Healing, Weight Loss and Non-Surgical Cosmetic Rejuvenation!

Let us help you to achieve optimum health! Just getting into better shape next year is not enough to limit your risk of health problems.

  • Did you know that even if you have a healthy diet and take a multi-vitamin, that does not mean your body is actually absorbing what you need?
  • Did you know that as we age, our ability to absorb certain nutrients declines? Have you ever wondered what positive effect the supplements you consume have on your body?
  • Did you know that 50% of people taking supplements will still remain deficient in these nutrients?

There is a test that measures the levels of select vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other essential micronutrients within your white blood cells (lymphocytes). This new technology offered by SpectraCell Laboratories measures the intracellular function of essential micronutrients within live white blood cells, which reflects your levels over the last few months.

Current standard serum tests only reflect a person's diet over a narrow window of time. Additionally these tests can be biased by many factors, especially by foods eaten during the few days preceding the test, which can mask the detection of long-term deficiencies.

With evidence documenting that micronutrient deficiencies contribute to all types of problems, including arthritis, cancer, heart disease and diabetes - YOU WANT TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE GIVING YOUR BODY WHAT IT NEEDS! By measuring the biochemical function of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants, we give you a powerful tool in your health care or disease management program for achieving optimum health!

Who should have this test done? Ideally, everyone - especially since most PPO insurance companies cover this test! It may be especially helpful for anyone with fatigue, fibromyalgia, arthritis, heart disease, those on medications and anyone with a chronic illness.

Most PPO forms of insurance will cover this test with a nominal $160 co-pay, and Medicare patients pay $70 or less at the time of testing. Blood is drawn at a local lab, just two minutes from our office, and results are usually available within three weeks. With the exception of the omega-3, no insurance currently covers this test.

The results will be explained to you in detail, a treatment plan will be established, and you will be re-tested in four to six months to determine if your deficiencies have been corrected.

Asprin Works...this test measures systemic thromboxane production in order to determine the presence or absence of asprin effect in individuals ingesting asprin for cardiovascular protection.  The metabolite is measured as oppossed to the prior method of taking whole blood platlets which resulted in poor reproduceability.  60 Million patients use an asprin a day, but does it work?  Is it the right dose?  20% of clinical patient's taking asprin appear to be 'resistant'.  This urine test will allow you to identify those patients and prescribe the least amount of asprin needed!  Available NOW!

Other tests avaiable include:

  • Heavy Metal Test

  • Hair Analysis

  • Parasite Testing

  • Bone Density

  • Hormone Testing

Click the Telomere tab if you are interested in seeing Dr. Perkins's results as an example. You will be able to see from the results that she not only prescribes supplements to her patients but clearly lives a healthy life style herself from the results of her test.

The following information will be provided on new lab tests!

LPP Logo - Product Specifications 1.  Spectracell's LPP+ assesses CARDIOVASULAR RISK, Genetic Risk & Cholesterol by new emerging risk factors!

MicroNutrient Logo - Product Specifications2.  Spectracell's Micronutriant is a VITAMIN analysis of 35 nutrients including B Vitamins, Vitamin E, Calcium, Coenzyme Q10, Antioxidants, and more to determine nutritional deficiencies.

ART Logo - Product Specifications 3.  Spectracell's ART is an Aspirin Response Test (11-Dehydro Thromboxane B2).   Thromboxane is a substance made by platelets that cause blood clotting and constriction of blood vessels.   You do not need to currently be taking aspirin to qualify for this test.

Apolipoprotein E Genotyping Logo 4. Apo E Genotyping determines an individual's genetic risk associated with the Apolipoprotein E gene. ApoE is involved in the metabolism of cholesterol and triglycerides, and variants in this gene can have clinically relevant implications for disease risk as well as one's response to statin therapy, dietary fat, and other risk factors (eg., smoking and alcohol consumption). Approximately 45% of individuals carry one or more of the high risk variants within the ApoE gene. The results of the genotyping of Apolipoprotein E have important implications in the treatment strategies for individual patients in reducing cardiovascular disease risk.

HS-Omega-3 Index 5. HS-Omega-3 Index determines the patient's risk for sudden cardiac death (SCD). Half of all fatal heart attacks are due to SCD which is defined as death within one hour of the event.  Most sudden cardiac deaths are due to cardiac arrhythmia. An adequate level of the omega-3's EPA and especially DHA can reduce this risk by 90%. The HS-Omega-3 Index measures the percentage of EPA and DHA levels in red blood cell membranes (RBC's) which are highly correlated to myocardial membrane omega-3 levels. Most Americans have a 4% RBC omega-3 fatty acid percentage which represents normal risk; however an 8 % RBC level may reduce the risk of SCD by 90%. The HS-Omega-3 Index is a great compliment with the LPP+ test for cardiovascular risk reduction and the management and treatment of lipoprotein disorders.
