Heather Graham flashes her legs in a see-through gown as she cosies up to Zac Efron at At Any Price premiere in New York

Though she has stayed out of the spotlight for quite some time, Heather Graham is coming back to the red carpet in full force.

The 43-year-old stunned in a peek-a-boo black strapless dress by Stella McCartney at the premiere of her 2012 film, At Any Price, on Thursday night.

With 25-year-old Zac Efron by her side, she looked almost as young as her co-star at the Cinema Society event in New York.

Wearing her signature blonde locks parted to the side and straightened, the Boogie Nights star was a breath of fresh California air, as she and the cast had just premiered their movie Tuesday night in Los Angeles.

Heather's blue, doll-like eyes lit up the red carpet - but not as much as her see-through dress.

Her black, strapless dress had a sheer, perforated overlay that allowed her lithe legs to peek through the fabric.

And speaking at the after party hosted by The Cinema Society and Bally at hot new Manhattan eatery Clarkson, the actress admitted she had had some help from a stylist, telling MailOnline: 'I love this dress, for these kind of things you need a bit of help!'

Strappy sandals boosted the petite actress to the height of her co-star Zac.

Stars including Oscar winner Marisa Tomei and fashion designer Stacey Bendet turned up to the bash and sipped Grey Goose cocktails.

In the film At Any Price, Dennis Quaid plays relentless Henry Whipple, who sells seeds to farmers in Iowa.

Zac plays his rebellious car-racing son, and Heather has a tryst with both characters.

Depicting modern-day agriculture, Dennis' Henry sells seeds that raise crop yields while forcing farmers to adopt the motto 'Expand or die,' as Businessweek reviewed.

The High School Musical star missed the Los Angeles premiere the night prior due to a gruesome hand injury that was healing.

The actor broke his hand during a punching scene while filming Townies with co-star Dave Franco earlier this week.

And speaking to MailOnline, Zac said he forewent a cast and had a titanium plate and screws placed in his hand instead.

Showing off his extremely swollen hand, now featuring a scar from a recent operation, Zac told MailOnline: 'It's getting better. I had an operation this week and you can see where they put in the plate and screws, it looks a little ugly!

'I can't wear a cast because I've got to go back to work. I don't blame Dave - it's all my fault. He's one of the nicest guys I've ever worked with.'

He said he was thrilled to get the role in the film - and star as Denni Quaid's son, confessing: 'Dennis Quaid is my hero.'

The film, which unveils the truth about modern-day farming, was originally released in 2012 but is making its big-screen debut this week.
